What do you like best about the product?

The Product I concentrate , JumpCloud Radius, is very easy to use and functions as expected. I would like support for TACACS at some point.

What do you dislike about the product?

Lack of support for TACACS on the cloud. It is more secure than Radius and is currently not supported.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

JumpCloud radius performs user authentication for our Aruba wireless access-points. Each client can use a JumpCloud user account as long as the user is a member of the correct user group.

What do you like best about the product?

I really like the ease of use of JumpCloud. Additionally, the ability to send commands remotely and have them execute in the background is very useful. This was especially beneficial when we developed a project that required the installation, updating, and configuration of applications on all company devices, and with JumpCloud, it was very easy to do. I also find that the initial setup was very simple thanks to my previous experience with JumpCloud.

What do you dislike about the product?

The password vault functionality could be improved, especially since we expected it to replace Keeper. JumpCloud lacks features like MFA integration and the ability to upload .ovpn files, which limits its usefulness for our specific needs.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

JumpCloud improves user and device management, keeping them updated and allowing remote configurations. It facilitates the installation, updating, and configuration of applications on all company devices. The ability to send commands remotely that execute in the background is especially useful.

What do you like best about the product?

I like that everything is centralized in JumpCloud, making it easy to manage users with single sign-on applications in just a few simple clicks. I love not having to go into multiple different systems to set up access or grant permissions to users for applications, which simplifies my workflow. The setup process is also fantastically easy, and I have a good understanding of it through various reconfigurations.

What do you dislike about the product?

Patch management and application deployment are still really spotty and really need an overhaul.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

JumpCloud eliminates the need for multiple tools with its centralized pane of view, allowing me to manage and grant user permissions for applications seamlessly.

What do you like best about the product?

I like the user interface and I love how easy it is to send commands remotely to machines with JumpCloud. Our MDM provider is ManageEngine, and sending commands from that application is more cumbersome compared to JumpCloud.

What do you dislike about the product?

The AI features that are being implemented sometimes do not work, like the all-encompassing AI search bar. We've also had issues in the past with the agent not updating or losing contact with the application. However, these issues seem to be happening less over the past year, which is great.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

JumpCloud solves SSO, Identity Management, User & Group Management, and Device Management challenges efficiently, and I find the remote command feature less cumbersome than other MDMs.

What do you like best about the product?

I like how much functionality JumpCloud brings on one platform. From a single console, an IT admin can manage identities, user accounts, and organize devices and access easily. The flexibility with user groups and device groups lets us use attributes pulled in from our Google Workspace to dynamically provision access instead of managing every user and computer individually. The integration with Google Workspace is valuable as it reduces duplication and manual onboarding, making the process seamless. Access request workflows also help automate access requests and can be managed by other users such as IT Admins, Managers, or custom user groups. JumpCloud provides our small IT team with a centralized and scalable way to manage identities, devices, updates, scripts, profiles, and access to geographically distributed facilities.

What do you dislike about the product?

One issue we have with JumpCloud is related to how our company email convention integrates with automatically provisioned Windows user accounts. Windows user profiles have a maximum character limit, which doesn't align well with our email format like first.last@domain, especially when names are long. This mismatch leads to user profile creation issues without proper error reporting or diagnostic tools to indicate a problem. Even if the system shows a device as bound, the account may not exist on the Windows machine, preventing access. Additionally, clearer visibility is needed for failed provisioning scripts, policies, or updates. For remote access, it would be beneficial if the tool could "black out" and hide the user's screen when dealing with sensitive information.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

JumpCloud helps our small IT team manage users and computers across facilities nationwide, automating user profiles, device access, policy application, remote scripts, and troubleshooting without on-site technicians.

What do you like best about the product?

I really like how JumpCloud resolves the OS bias issue for us since we use both Apple and Windows systems heavily. It acts as a great leveller across all the systems we use. I also appreciate the feature where we can ship computers directly from a vendor to a remote employee, and they can log in using their single sign-on account. It's really convenient.

What do you dislike about the product?

The built-in password manager isn't quite up to par with 1Password, lacking some key functions and reliability. I find it to be a bit buggy with autofill not working sometimes, and frequent verifications are needed.

JumpCloud secures remote work, centralizes logins with SSO, and solves OS bias by supporting both Apple and Windows. It automates onboarding and offboarding, enhancing operational and security management. Sending devices directly to remote employees is simplified, enabling seamless access to internal systems.

I liked everything about JumpCloud supper easy to work with and integrate with other apps and the performance is really well.

What do you like best about the product?

The platform is great for user identity and device management across the entire organization, and the directory services enable the provisioning and management of users from a centralized location, in addition, I am impressed with the multi-OS device management, which enables managing Windows, Mac, and Linux systems from the same console, and most importantly, the SSO capabilities, that allow access to all the applications in a convenient and reliable manner. The platform provides excellent value for the cost and the range of features for managing the identities and devices across multiple operating systems is worth the investment, and, in addition, the time saved on manual processes for our IT department is well worth the cost.

What do you dislike about the product?

No, not at the moment as the platform works very well and does the job it's supposed to do very consistently.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

It helps to centralize all user identity and device management needs in one single platform and the automated provisioning will make it much easier to provision and de-provision users promptly. This also means that our IT and security departments will have full visibility and control over everything that happens throughout the organization.

What do you like best about the product?

I like how easy it is to apply the policies to the iPads and iPhones with JumpCloud. It makes configuring iPhones with a standard setup simple, saving time and keeping things consistent across our infrastructure. I also find it easy to search for devices in the interface. Additionally, the initial setup was very simple, especially with the scheduled sessions with technical support. We switched to JumpCloud from Moisal because of the better pricing and interface.

JumpCloud allows me to configure iPhones with a standard setup, saving time and ensuring consistency. I like how easy it is to apply policies to iPads and iPhones, and it solves the problem of addressing each device individually.
