What do you like best about the product?
This Nmap is network mapper tool, which can identify the status of port with version and running service which can help to security analyst to work with vulnerability assessment of network and infrastructure.
What do you dislike about the product?
If port is filter with firewall or infrastructure is implemented with IDS, that time it's deficult with scanning the ports with this tool.Its challenging when port forwarding is applied.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
To identify the port status in the infrastructure we are using this tool, as this automate script based tool so this make us confident to identify the status , running service on the ports.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's a good one for Network security Engineer for vulnerability assessment activity.
