Process Street: Excellent for Internal Processes, Room to Grow on Customer-Facing Forms

  • May 06, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Process Street excels at creating detailed workflow management with multiple layers of tasks. Since implementing it in July 2024, we've built customer-facing intake forms that trigger internal workflows, which then branch into user-level task assignments. This hierarchical structure ensures nothing falls through the cracks. The platform is particularly valuable for documenting repeatable internal processes that don't occur frequently, eliminating the "how did we do this last time?" problem. Our standout success has been creating an AI-powered testimonial wizard that collects client feedback through simple questions and automatically generates polished testimonials. The platform is intuitive and user-friendly, making implementation relatively painless both for our business at ByteWize and for my personal use with tasks like tax preparation.
What do you dislike about the product?
The customer-facing forms lack the robust functionality available in the workflows. Despite expecting feature parity, forms are significantly more basic, which limits our options when designing client interactions. The most frustrating aspect is the disparity between workflow functionality and form functionality - they don't mirror each other. For example, AI tasks are available in workflows but not in forms, forcing us to choose between better user experience and more powerful features. While Process Street continues to release updates, addressing these limitations would significantly improve the platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Process Street solves our biggest operational headaches by standardizing our customer intake with forms that automatically kick off internal workflows, so nothing falls through the cracks. It's a lifesaver for those "how did we do this last time?" processes that happen infrequently. The biggest win has been our testimonial system – we turned an awkward ask into a simple questionnaire that uses AI to generate professional testimonials in minutes. I even use it personally for tax prep reminders. Bottom line: we're way more efficient now, with better handoffs between team members and consistent quality no matter who's handling the work.RetryClaude can make mistakes. Please double-check responses.

The backbone of our process optimization work

  • May 06, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Process Street is essential to how we deliver repeatable value. It lets us standardize, scale, and track complex workflows. We use it daily for everything from healthcare compliance to HR automation. The interface is clean, the logic tools are flexible, the automations and connectors make implementation fast, and it integrates well with tools like Zapier and Power Automate. Their customer support is excellent; the team is always responsive, helpful, and clear.
What do you dislike about the product?
The workflow builder can feel too flat and text-heavy, especially in larger builds. A visual map or timeline would make complex journeys easier to manage. Also, while native automation has improved, it still lags behind when it comes to triggering workflows natively. We often need third-party tools to meet advanced requirements.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Process Street helps us eliminate the chaos of undocumented, inconsistent, and hard-to-scale processes, especially in complex environments like healthcare and financial services. Internally, we use it as our central platform for SOPs, compliance workflows, onboarding checklists, and cross-functional task tracking. It gives our consultants a repeatable and auditable structure that’s easy to deploy with clients. That leads to faster project delivery, higher user adoption, and better visibility into how work gets done. It also reduces training time for both our team and our clients.

Intuitive Yet Limited Integration Capabilities

  • May 06, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I find Process Street pretty intuitive to use. It allows for conditional logic, which gives a little bit of flexibility in the flow, letting me show certain information based on conditions. It's also intuitive for the end user, making it simple for them to get in, respond to things, and see their responses.
What do you dislike about the product?
The integrations are very limited, only working with certain tools and restricting functionality. For example, with Slack, interaction is limited, reducing how effectively it can be used. The tool itself has a very rigid structure, making creation of new processes time-consuming. If there's a unique requirement, you must recreate everything, affecting every client or instance, which is less than ideal and very time consuming. Even setting up reminders is painful when it should be quick & intuitive. Setting up workflows is also time consuming, even though it wasn't difficult to jump in and start using. Further, if adding a lot into a workflow it can get buggy and their support team was not sufficiently efficient or knowlegable in addressing issues in a reasonable time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Process Street provides an intuitive user interface for clients, rolls up response data, and allows flexibility with conditional logic and email sending. It's simple to use and helps in conducting surveys effectively. Ultimately we decided to end our relationship with Process Street however.

Simplifying Process Documentation and SOP

  • May 06, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
What I like about Process Street is that it is easy to learn and streamlines workflows and process documentation. Aside from that, there are tons of templates I can use to get started. There is also an integrated AI that can create the task for me when needed. So as a newbie, implementing a certain workflow is very straightforward.
Other features I have tried using are their checklist and simple automations. You can also assign tasks with it.

Our team is using this on a daily basis, from onboarding checklists to SOP documentation to a daily knowledge base for our IT team. Process Street is integrated into our daily workloads.

Although I haven't tried it yet, I know they have a free version, so that is a big plus for those who want to get started of using a systematic tool for process documentation.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't have any major things I don't like about Process Street. The only thing that comes to mind is that when numbering certain tasks, it won't continue from the previous task if there is a gap in between, or I would create a new sub task in the same page.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Process Street is creating a system for getting or distributing a knowledge base to our team. Making client onboarding efficient. Documenting the process is easier and making SOP a breeze.
