Ease of use Testlink
What do you like best about the product?
Testlink basically helps you in the wrtiting the test cases , requirement specification and make them execute in one platform.
You can add build/releases in it and add your testplan customizable.
you can map your requirements with the test cases for the coverage.

What do you dislike about the product?
Testlink basically meeting all the requirements for the users. so , i dont think of any dislike about the testlink.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Testlink has solving giving us the one platform where we can write the test cases , add rhe requirments make them execute and get the report for the same in the testlink.

Easy to use tool
What do you like best about the product?
Testlinks helps you to write the test cases in its platform.
you can make the test plan , you can execute the test cases, can do the RTM and make requirements in it .

I personally dont think about any dislike ut, sometimes the page doesn't respond on which we are working.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has been solved most of it for ex: test execution , test cases , RTM , you can do everything through the testlink. you can execute the test cases and make the test execution report for the same .

We and our testing team use this tool for test plan documentation and we also use it for our unit testing

After few years copy-move function does not works,
'X ray' an add on of JIRA is much capable,

testlink is software testing and management tool which is useful for caryy out all the processes realted to software testing.testlink is used on server so no need to install it on your machine physically.so it is memory efficient tool.easy to use and simple to handle for even new user
What do you dislike about the product?
one fo the biggest dislike when we talk about testlink is that it doesnt support automation nor any connectivity with other tools like bugzilla or mantis.testlink is manily useful only for manual testing activites so that would be the one of the main disadvantage of test link.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
by using testlink on regular basis you can able to write test cases very simply and add new data to test cases which are already exist very much easily.execution of test cases is also done in great way using testlink.so overall testlink is very important tool for managing test cases and test scenarios online without consumption of any space.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
is higly recommend to other users , mainly software test engineers to proceed all the tasks related to testing is very efficent way , well managed tool for all testing activites.

What do you like best about the product?
It's free software that consists of all premium testing tools like Jira etc. It's very user-friendly and easy to create test cases and test scenarios. We can access it from anywhere, and also defects can be logged and looked into them anytime.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't have anything to dislike in this software as it is free of cost and built with unique features. Frequent updates in the tool correcting bugs will be helpful, and the customer support team can be a little better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have used it for one of our software development projects for testing the developed features. It's straightforward to track the user stories and map test cases.

After loossing my test cases twice i hate this web application

I don't know what happened just completed the expected result and click on save & exit, there is showing some error, and I lost my whole test case with the test suit, so much disappointed my entire day's work was gone.

What do you like best about the product?
Using this tool is really easy and it provides great features. Firstly, you can multi manage projects using testlink. The process is really simple and easy to explore from writing the test cases to executing them. Copying the cases to other suits or integrating testlink with other software is also helpful. It is really easy to filter the cases and differentiate based on the requirement. Documentation is best for the beginners or for the ones who are stuck. Unique CaseId helps to bifurcate and different projects can be easily managed using this.
What do you dislike about the product?
One cannot use this software with multiple users for a long time like it really makes it difficult to use with so much data in it. So management tool is really a good option if using testlink as test automation or creation tool.

Many problems are solved compared to other software but some need to be worked on by the developers.

The user experience is horrible and occasionally some test executions are invisible

A great feature is separate automation test cases, however it would be nice if the automated test cases could be triggered straight from test link.

if you are looking for a cheap product which has all the important functionality then this is a good product , but if you value UX a lot then may be this is not for you.
