What do you like best about the product?
Split is easy to use and pretty intuitive. Defining feature flags and accessing their values programmatically is straightforward.
What do you dislike about the product?
In 2 years, I haven't found yet something I don't like in Split
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Split makes easy the use of feature flags

It offers a lot in regards to A/B testing or controlled feature roll out

  • April 11, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Once it is set up and integrated, it is easy to set up new feature toggles. It gives a lot of control on running A/B tests, when you need to setup more complex user segments, targeting and so on.
What do you dislike about the product?
The interface when setting up a feature toggle can be a little complicated.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easily running experiments and A/B tests; applying the same configuration across all platforms

Simple and effective A/B testing tool

  • April 11, 2023
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The thing I like best about Split is that it is so easy to use and integrate into code and yet it is so effective. It is also very good with metrics around the performance of an A/B test.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the competitors of Split like Conductrics can provide a more detailed management of the A/B test criteria.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main problem that Split is solving for us is continuous delivery. We are able to ship components of a feature to Production behind a whitelist and keep it turned off while its tested completely

Opportunity to leverage a/b testing to make data-based decisions

  • April 07, 2023
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to measure impact of new features before rolling them out to 100 percent of customers.
What do you dislike about the product?
for non or less technical individuals, it isnt the most user friendly tool always.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
On the product team we are juggling business requirements, market opportunities, and new feature ideas. Using Split to test new features and iteratively rollout new features (or hide things behind a flag) means that we're able to gain useful insights to make the best decision for our customers.

  • Review verified by G2

the search / the favorites
What do you dislike about the product?
it will be better to see all the 'turned on' splits on my first screen dashboard.
instead of logging in to specific split and search my name
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
it solves a perfect way of splitting the environments (development / production)

Excellent tool for Product Managers and Engineers alike

  • March 30, 2023
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
As a Product Manager, being able to easily deploy and test features is an essential aspect of my job, Split makes this incredibly easy and intuitive. Our Developers also enjoy using split as it fits easily into their existing workflow.
What do you dislike about the product?
Would like the session tokens to last a little longer, I understand the security aspect however I think they could increase it by an hour or two without too much risk.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Testing, Deploying, and occasionally rolling back features. The ability of the development team to deploy tickets as they are complete without affecting production allows us to better test and coordinate feature launches with other departments.

Great fit for a startup that grows with your need for the right price.

  • March 30, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Excellent and seamless library support for both backend and frontend integrations. Strong offering out of the gate even at entry level. Excellent uptime and built-in system resistance. Nearly instant rule update propagation. Very straightforward price model that doesn't nickel and dime you on volume. Very straightforward interface with the right amount of safeguards and audit logging. Has DataDog integration and internal reporting, however, I haven't had an opportunity to use either one yet.
What do you dislike about the product?
More advanced split management tools are only available in the paid version which makes sense. Haven't had an opportunity to test drive their analytics as we are using the entry-level package. No real complaints overall.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Feature flags are an essential part of the Agile software development process. Ability to have that functionality at the basic level while running on a tight budget is paramount to the team's success. Split.io understands the feature flag problem well and provides all the right breakdowns and capabilities to manage it right.

Streamlined Feature Management: Split.io Keeps Me in the Driver's Seat

  • March 30, 2023
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
In a nutshell, Split.io simplifies feature management, making it a must-have tool in our arsenal!
User-Friendly Interface, no need to be a tech guru the interface is very intuitive.
Complete Control, pinpoint user targeting, ace A/B testing, and roll out updates gradually very easily.
What do you dislike about the product?
One area that could be improved in Split.io is enhancing the platform's built-in reporting and visualization capabilities.
While it provides valuable real-time insights into feature performance, expanding the reporting and visualization options to offer more customizable and in-depth analytics would be beneficial.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Introducing new features gradually, having the option to selectively grant access to specific user groups, and swiftly deactivating features in case of emergencies.
Really making it easy to control feature rollout.

Split is a reliable and capable tool that has enabled us to make significant strides in improving our feature management capability. The customer support has been fantastic and has helped us get the most out of the product.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't have any thoughts on this at the moment.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Split solves the problem of providing a management interface for configuring "feature toggles" in a way that makes sense for our organization.

Split is great for managing feature flags, and it integration easy

  • March 22, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It's easy to disable the feature through UI
What I love about Split is that it is user-friendly, it's easy to set up and run experiments and the review of traffic helps a lot
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it seems that has some cache and takes a little more time to apply the changes
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Release new features gradually, without exposing them to the general public at the same time, allowing to make necessary changes if a problem occurs without impacting costumers
