What do you like best about the product?

It is helpful to have the automation and customization for contract generation. It can handle dozens of contract templates and endless clauses we have which vary per product.

What do you dislike about the product?

While it is helpful to have, it can break easily with no clear way to fix it. Everything requires a ticket, and those tickets must be handled one by one. This makes for a very long painful process. I know quite a bit about queries, clause library, our templates, clause bundles, etc, and I’m still unable to figure out why things break so often or where to begin to fix them. We don’t change anything, and suddenly clauses start breaking or coming in blank. There are sections that have been broken for 2+ years now. I have over 20 tickets open at the moment on various issues that nobody on my team know how to fix. We have so many work arounds for the things that are broken that we are used to that workflow now. There are so many things broken or not working appropriately that I don't think we will ever catch up on the existing tickets since I create new ones regularly as well. Each ticket requires much time and effort to first create the ticket, providing all details, screenshots, examples, opp links, attachments, etc. Then, we must do screenshares and ensure the support team understands our process, the steps, and the issue. Many times there are multiple calls or emails needed for just one ticket, then sometimes we need to create tickets with Corporate Systems in connection with our Conga ticket. We need to spend the time testing any possible solution(s), and then finally make the change or upload the new template in production. It is a drawn-out grueling process with focus on just one issue at a time when there are so many important things to fix. We all wish it were easier to resolve issues on our own and prevent them from happening, however, we don’t feel confident that will ever happen. The entire configuration of Conga integrated with our templates and clauses is far too complex 1) for my team to ever understand, investigate, or resolve issues on our own and 2) that things are easily misaligned and/or broken for no clear reason. Everything requires a deep investigation which we do not have the time for. My role has evolved to manage the various support tickets we have and is now even part of my every day role. This takes away from the time I should be spending on actually reviewing contracts.

I also want to share that even this review process was difficult. I typed my entire response here in this box which took several minutes. Then, in the middle of my response, another screen opened requiring me to click “verification”. It brought me back to this screen and my entire response disappeared. So, I had to spend the time typing all of this again.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Conga is simply generating the contract rather than us manually filling it out. Sometimes, but not always, we can update one clause rather than updating all the templates. This saves us time.

What do you like best about the product?

We use the Composer product in our document generation flow for tenders/offers. With Composer, our document generation time has improved, and we are getting fewer errors. We especially like that Composer is integrated with our tenders/offers. We are able to pull data from the CPQ system and generate documents easily. We are able to customize the templates as per the needs of different country tenders/offers for various formats like PDF, Excel, and Word. Especially, this process is handled with a single click, which is awesome.

What do you dislike about the product?

In the past, we raised many cases with Conga Technical Support regarding invalid data being pulled into generated documents from CPQ. We are still observing such incidents in very rare cases, which is quite frustrating. However, we understand that there was no issue with Composer; there was a data issue in the backend.

Composer is streamlining document generation flow for our quotes and tenders. We can generate complex documents in a very easy way with Composer.

Initial configuration and template setup can be complex, especially for first-time users or teams without strong technical support. Once we are familiar with this product then we are able to handle easily.

I really like the template designer in Conga Composer for its drag-and-drop simplicity. It stands out because it lets non-technical hospitality staff craft pixel-perfect guest proposals. This feature revolutionizes our workflow by enabling rapid customization of guest-facing documents without relying on IT support.

While the template designer excels, Conga Composer's multi-language support falls short for our global hospitality operations, often requiring manual tweaks for non-English character rendering in contracts. Also, the initial setup wasn't easy, particularly the migration of templates from other contracts to Conga Composer, which was tricky for our team. The template migration process paused due to dependencies on legacy systems.

I use Conga Composer to generate customized proposals and contracts from Salesforce data, which eliminates hours spent compiling data and ensures professional, repeatable outputs for VIP client packages.

Composers let me create accurate documents by merging data from salesforce or other systems directly into templates and it saves my time by eliminating manual copy paste work.
It can generate and send large volume of documents in one go, scheduled or on demand

What do you dislike about the product?

It is better to use. and as of now i have not found anything to dislike.

Composer can pull data from salesforce and with the Api from any system.
Composer is not just for sales but our legal, hr, finance team and customer success teams use it for different use cases. Like our CS system use it to automate power point reviews.

What do you like best about the product?

We use Conga Composer along with CPQ and we can seemlessly integrate both the packages. We use Word, Excel, Power point with Conga Composer to easily meet our business requirements. Contracts, Proposals/ quotes generates seemlessly in the format that we designed the templates - This saves our time a lot, since we frequently use the emplates. We do Orders and Quote Generation, Conga Composer well fits with the Conga CPQ that eases our work. Once everything is set up correctly a novice person without a technical knowledge can also generates the proposals with templates. Conga Composer has a strong Customer support when in need they help with fixes.

What do you dislike about the product?

So one thing we observed is the Template designing. Basic templates rae easy to design, but the complex requirements like conditional logics, multiple objects involvement needs strong working skills and Expertise in Conga composer. And when there is a need to enhance the Template with new requirement even if it is a small change it takes time to update the multiple tables and conditions involved. When something goes wrong the errors are too generic to understand and troubleshoot. Templates with Mutiple LineItems often takes time to generate. Customer still needs support is needed when trouble shoot.

Conga composer solves the problem of manual creation and error-prone document generation from salesforce data. we usually exports data in Excel/Word and do the updates which is high rosk and time consuming, with Conga composer it eases our work.

It saves time and helps maintain consistency. I also like the flexibility of the templates. Overall, Conga Composer stands out for turning complex data into professional, accurate documents in just a few clicks. Good support from customer 24/7*. Easy to implement.

Steep learning curve—advanced features such as queries, conditional logic, and button URLs require a solid amount of technical knowledge to use effectively.

Conga helps us resolve a lot of our challenges in revenue model especially during contracting. Conga Composer implementation proves significant for our company as it standardize all our contracting templates and integrate it with Conga CPQ.

Continousupgrades is quite annoying as it sometimes break composer and halts our contracting processes.

When you work on revenue model it is always very important that different teams interact at almost all of the stages of revenue model to ensure a tight contract without any issues. Conga Composer has solved this problem for us as it meets our requiremenmt ofgeneratingpersonal and customized documents that can be relayed amojng different teams within organisation without any errors and with unparalleled speed and accuracy.

Conga Composer helped us simplify and streamline our auditing processes by pulling all the required data from our contracts in salesforce to a single report. Their implemetation team and support team had helped us deliver this solution and also helped us a lot to enable our teams on this solution.

What do you dislike about the product?

It is a very expensive solution in the market.

Conga Composer has automated our document generation process. Also, it overcomes the challenges keeping a track of high volumen contractual documents with the help of its advanced features and functionality. it is so flexible that custyomizations can be made very quickly and the next minutes it is ready to genrate documents with full professional and standard legal languages.
