Great product, and yet I don't use it anymore.
What do you like best about the product?
Affordable and easy to setup. An extra periods and which I can continue upgrading to the newer versions at no cost
What do you dislike about the product?
Many products similar to each other, and it's hard to chose the right one even with trial periods
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Can use Windows OS I've purchased on my Macbook. I didn't have to buy new computer to use Windows-only softwares.

VMware for OS
What do you like best about the product?
I have been using VMware fusion from long time as it helps me to install other operatiing System like Kali, Ubuntu etc. for my study purpose. The best thing about VMware is the screensheet facilities which helps me to return back to previous state if somthing wrong happened. On other thing once you install it you will get the default maximize sceen which you can get in VirtuaBox software. It can be installed easily in any OS.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am using VMware in MAC and Sometimes I have noticed if the MAC batter goes down then after the restart I was unable to open VMware, in this case I have to again restart the MAC.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
VMware is solving my problem of using different operating system in one laptop. Usually I have to waork on 2 -3 OS at a time so managing the memory uses and CPU uses is necessary and VMware does this perfectly.

It provides a straightforward way for users to set up and manage virtual machines.

VMware Fusion is a commercial product, and users may find the licensing cost to be relatively high.

Many applications and software are designed to run on specific operating systems. VMware Fusion allows users to run multiple operating systems, including Windows and Linux, on a Mac.

It allows us easy maintenance of different VM Images to test different applications environment easily and more securely.

I like the 3d graphics support which is most unique which is beneficial for running graphics intensive applications and games within vms

Unity mode ,where it allows you to run windows apps directly on mac desktop

What do you dislike about the product?
Windows 10 Image is not working with latest version of VMware Fusion on M1/M2 Chipsets and must install windows 11 which will not help us at present, becuase mose of the systems are still using windows 10 due to compatability with internal tools.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
MAC users need addtional Machines to work on windows applications i.e. internal tools ,etc. also difficult to manage two systems for each MAC users
Great software for virtualization
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use but it's so powerful in case you need to customize it.
What do you dislike about the product?
I was thinking about price, but they offer you a free-version for non-commercial use. So, there is nothing.

I can test on different scenarios (Win-OSX-Linux) without buying additional hardware.
VMware Fusion - A Star App on its Own right!
What do you like best about the product?
The fact that VMware allows one to install multiple operating systems makes it a worthwhile application. To top it up, it is a cross-platform application, I can use it on MAC, windows, and even Linux.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is not easy to install when compared to other virtualization software. Moreso, if you are using the free version especially the one meant for home ore personal, you do not get support, unless you make payments.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
VMware Fusion is solving the problem of installing multiple operating systems without having to reboot your PC or Mac...it also helps one to test applications, especially in a virtual environment so as to know how they work especially under different OS and platforms
Great option for Windows on Mac
What do you like best about the product?
I like the seamless integration of VMWare into Mac. I like how you can have both the host and guest running concurrently. I have used a few other similar products, but I liked VMWare the best.

No real complaints about using the product
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have a Microsoft Access application which I use, and since Microsoft does ot support Access for MAc, this was the way for me to get around it.
A very straightforward virtualization software for macOS
What do you like best about the product?
I moved from Parallels to VMware Fusion because it had more features and a significant cost savings for the company. I also found it to be much easier to deploy to our macOS fleet than Parallels
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I found to be a bit trickier to set up in VMware Fusion is the CPU/RAM/SSD settings. Parallels had some handy templates when setting up a VM for the first time. VMware was missing that which wasn't ideal but I could still do it (just a learning curve and they may have fixed this by now).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In our company, 95% of the office was on macOS however, we had a few users who still needed PC environments set up and needed them to be ones that could still detect hardware plugged in like a flash drive. Fusion allowed for cross-platform compatibility with MacBook Pro hardware to the PC environment on the VM.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Whether you are migrating from an existing PC to a VM, from another VM software like Parallels to VMware Fusion or starting from scratch, VMware Fusion is really simple to set up and get going!
