What do you like best about the product?

I particularly appreciate the simplicity of using HYCU, as well as the reliability of its backup and data protection solutions. The support is also very responsive and competent, making the overall experience truly satisfying.

What do you dislike about the product?

Overall, I am satisfied with HYCU. Some improvements to the user interface and reporting options would make the experience even better.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

HYCU simplifies the backup and restoration of our data, reducing the risk of data loss and saving us time in managing and protecting our IT environment.

Backup and restoration are good and easy processes

Reporting and administration could be stronger. Some Nutanix-specific limitations remain.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

HYCU gives us a single platform to manage backup, recovery, and disaster recovery across those environments. That simplifies administration, reduces the amount of time our IT team spends managing backups, and makes it easier to see whether our critical workloads are actually protected.

What do you like best about the product?

I really like HYCU for its simplicity to use and the ease of configuration during setup. The speed at which it can be set up is excellent, and my team found the interface very straightforward with no issues. The configuration in the setup is very easy, which adds to its value. The setup process was simple, making it very user-friendly and efficient for us.

What do you dislike about the product?

Upgrades are not cumulative, rather have to be done manually 1 version after another

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

HYCU solves the restoration of user data and disaster recovery issues while being simple to use and quick to set up, making my team have no trouble using the interface.

What do you like best about the product?

Honestly, I'm impressed. I was expecting the usual software nightmare—you know, buried features, confusing menus, a dashboard that looks like it was designed by someone who's never used a computer. But nope. This just works.

The interface is straightforward. Like, refreshingly straightforward. No unnecessary bells and whistles, no trying to be too clever. You open it up and you immediately get what's going on. Most of the time it's pretty logical too, which is apparently too much to ask for these days.

The dashboard is probably my favorite part. It's actually easy to read. The information is laid out in a way that makes sense, and I can find what I'm looking for without squinting or hunting through menus for ten minutes. Clean, simple, gets the job done.

I'm not gonna pretend it's perfect—nothing is—but for what I need it for, it's solid. No complaints really. It does what it's supposed to do without making me want to pull my hair out, and that puts it ahead of like 90% of the stuff out there.

What do you dislike about the product?

Don't get me wrong, I'm happy with it overall, but there are a couple things that bug me.

The dashboard needs more flexibility and better integration. Right now it feels a bit limited. I'd love to see more customization options so I can tailor it to what I actually need. Plus, it would be killer to have a true "one pane of glass" view for everything—cloud, on-prem, all your products, all your consoles in one place. Right now it feels fragmented jumping between different interfaces. Getting a unified dashboard across all environments and consolidating those separate consoles would be a real game-changer.

But honestly? These aren't deal-breakers. Just stuff that would make it even better if the devs ever get around to it. Everything else runs great, so I'm not sweating it.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Better ROI - You're not throwing money at complex backup solutions that require constant babysitting. HYCU is straightforward enough that you need less overhead to manage it. Less time spent on maintenance = more money in your pocket.

Ease of Use - Your team isn't spending hours learning complicated software or dealing with endless troubleshooting. The interface just makes sense, so backups and recoveries happen smoothly without constant firefighting.

Rock-Solid Dependability - When you need to restore something, it works. No surprises, no failed recoveries at 2 AM. You can actually rely on it, which means you can focus on running your business instead of worrying about your backups.

What do you like best about the product?

HYCU is a tool that does exactly what it’s supposed to do: it runs in the background and backs up all our Google Workspace data and emails. It requires no maintenance whilst in operation, and data recovery is simple and efficient.

What do you dislike about the product?

sometimes it's a little bit slow, but that does not effect efficiency

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

If a user accidentally deletes data, it is very easy to recover it.

What do you like best about the product?

I love the intuitive interface of HYCU, which allows me to have an in-depth control of what's happening and how the backup processes are going. It's also great that I can simply create a policy and HYCU does the rest. Additionally, the initial installation of HYCU was very easy and takes very little time.

What do you dislike about the product?

The only feature I miss is VMware-based VM replication.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

HYCU solves the compliance issue and eliminates the need for complicated backup job scheduling. I can create a policy and let it do the rest, greatly simplifying the backup process.

What do you like best about the product?

I greatly appreciate the value for money of HYCU compared to other solutions. I also like the dedicated team on both the manufacturer and partner sides, who are always attentive and solve challenges in the customer's interest.

What do you dislike about the product?

So far, I have had no reason to complain.

HYCU reduces the risk of compromised data and helps meet internal compliance requirements.

What do you like best about the product?

Very user friendly and easy to deploy and maintain. Smaller teams and larger teams can equally enjoy Hycu.

What do you dislike about the product?

Id say their market presence makes it harder sometimes with less recognition by C level execs.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

As a former customer, hycu did the job admirably backing up our on premises and azure based VMs. As well as M365 mailbox backups.

Simplicity & wide range of Support(Saas & Cloud) ! HYCU provides strong value for the investment. The platform delivers reliable backup, recovery, and data protection capabilities while reducing the operational effort required to manage these processes. The ease of deployment, straightforward administration, and automation features help lower overhead and improve efficiency. Overall, the pricing aligns well with the functionality and business benefits provided, making it a cost-effective solution for protecting critical workloads.

What do you dislike about the product?

We have had a positive experience overall and have not encountered any major issues. If there is one area for improvement, it would be adding more advanced reporting, analytics, and automation capabilities to support enterprise-scale operations and compliance reporting.

HYCU helps us protect business-critical workloads by providing reliable backup, recovery, and data protection capabilities. The platform simplifies backup administration, reduces operational complexity, and enables our team to automate routine data protection tasks. As a result, we spend less time managing backups and more time focusing on strategic initiatives. The solution also provides confidence in our disaster recovery readiness and helps ensure business continuity through faster and more reliable recovery processes.

What do you like best about the product?

HYCU is easy to deploy and manage, with a very intuitive interface. I especially appreciate the reliability and speed of the backups. It provides consistent protection, clear monitoring, and makes daily backup administration simple and efficient.

What do you dislike about the product?

After three years of using HYCU, I haven’t found any significant downsides or anything that I particularly dislike. The solution has been reliable and has consistently met my expectations.

Since I started using HYCU, backups are no longer a problem or a time-consuming task. The backup process is reliable and automated, allowing me to focus on other IT activities without having to constantly worry about data protection.
