StackStorm's software is an open-source Event Driven Automation software solution used for auto-remediation and for deployment use cases including CI/CD. Additionally, StackStorm is broadly used to power ChatOps. StackStorm enables ChatOps by allowing for the use of existing scripts and integrations via bi directional ChatOps control as well as the underlying capabilities of StackStorm to aggregate individual actions into long running automations that combine event processing and workflow. Any chat that can integrate with the HuBot plug-in can work with StackStorm - which means Slack, HipChat, IRC and others.
