Snip2Code is a web startup focused on creating platforms and tools to improve the performances of developers both as single individuals and teams. This goal can be achieved by collecting and sharing the software knowledge of the coders: the world gurus spread their pearls of wisdom to everybody, while in an enterprise environment the experienced team leaders can guide the junior figures of the team. The vehicle to share the software knowledge is the snippet: a little fragment of code, like a LEGO building block, that solves a particular coding problem and can be re-used under several scopes and applications. For a coder, it is far better to see few lines of code instead of reading pages of documentation! By adopting our first web-based solution, which lets the users collect, organize and share the code snippets, companies are able to a have a boost in their time-to-market of 20% for a project, which also translates in a huge cost saving for the overall software development lifecycle.
