About SnappyData

Snappydata was incubated at Pivotal by a highly experienced team of engineers empowered to create a breakthrough OSS Big Data platform. The team leadership is the original GemFire founders who previously pioneered in-memory data grid technology over a decade ago. That team spun out in Jan 2016 as a standalone entity, SnappyData. The SnappyData team is now 25+ people strong.
