建設業界では設計段階においてBIM/CISの活用が進む一方で、施工段階での活用は未だ限定的です。特にデジタルツインを構築する現場の管理は、3次元モデルを扱える高性能PCの手配や、ソフトウェア操作に関する高度なスキルの習得が必要であり、加えてBIM/CIM、地形、点群などの静的データと、人や工事車両などの動的データを統合することには高度な技術が必要なことから、一部の建設現場で試験的に行われているのが実情です。こうした業界全体に関わる課題を解決するべく、大林組は大学や企業との連携により、本アプリの企画・構築を実現しました。 TISは本アプリ開発において、大林組が東京大学と行った「データ・システム連携基盤」※3の共同研究をベースに「データ連携基盤の構築」を行ったほか、「多種類のデータ集約・座標変換ロジック」の考案と実装を担当しました。また、操作性や快適性を向上させるため、ユニティ・テクノロジーズ・ジャパン株式会社(本社:東京都中央区、社長:大前広樹)はUnity(本社:アメリカ合衆国カリフォルニア州、CEO:John Riccitiello)が提供するアプリケーションのカスタマイズで大林組と連携をしています。
