    Equans & Necko Technologies

Equans BeLux, expert in the energy and services sector, worked with AWS Partner Necko Technologies to build a flexible system on Amazon Web Services (AWS) that can ingest and serve 1.5 TB of smart buildings monitoring data for 250 clients. The system must ingest and serve more than 10 different data formats to a variety of customer monitoring systems in near-real-time. Although data loads can be predicted, the system must be agile enough to scale up quickly for new clients or to process additional sets of data. It must also be able to rapidly alter APIs and the format that data is converted into if customers change to a new management tool.

    SoundTalks & Cloudar

Belgium-based SoundTalks created an artificial intelligence-powered monitoring platform for pig producers that helps detect early-stage respiratory disease symptoms to limit outbreaks. It built its platform using Amazon Web Services (AWS) in 2014 but wanted to improve security and scalability. Working with AWS Partner Cloudar, the company re-architected the system to follow security best practices and used Amazon ECS, AWS Fargate, and AWS Lambda, to allow the platform to scale according to demand. The transformation resulted in a significant reduction in infrastructure costs and an improvement in performance of more than 1,000 percent.

    Adapcare & Cambrian

Healthcare company Adapcare migrated its on-premises Microsoft workloads to Amazon Web Services (AWS) and improved performance by a factor of 6. In addition, the company can now build a new customer environment in minutes rather than the weeks it took previously. By using infrastructure as code and Amazon EC2, everything is easily and reliably replicable and customers benefit from better performance. Migrating to AWS, with help from AWS Partner Cambrian Technologies, also provides access to machine learning and artificial intelligence services to add more value for customers by adding data-driven products to Adapcare’s platform.

This enabled it to speed development and scale to more efficiently handle seasonal surges in customer usage, especially for those in the retail sector. The company migrated all core service application to a single cloud-based platform on Amazon Web Services (AWS). Using AWS, the company can easily handle existing and emerging data regulations and develop functionalities for new services. It is on track to handle 700 million document pages annually after its modernization is complete.
