National Police of Colombia Uses AI-powered System to Improve Public Safety and Prevent Crime with Nuvu on AWS

The National Police of Colombia (NPC) is responsible for providing security and protection to the country’s citizens. The NPC had built a specialist IT department with more than 840 officers using resources to monitor and record public safety concerns and incidents. However, the NPC found itself with an immense amount of data that took time and resources to analyze to produce backward-looking reports. The leadership felt that applying new technology, especially artificial intelligence (AI), could pull together data for faster analysis and give the NPC better predictive capability and responsiveness. The new system, built with the help of AWS Partner Nuvu and running on Amazon Web Services (AWS), has reduced costs, resulted in faster incident response times, and improved the organization’s prediction accuracy.

Pi Pharma Intelligence Increases Database Speed and Size While Reducing Time to Resolution with AWS and cirrusgo

Pi Pharma Intelligence, a leading pharmaceutical intelligence company, found its growing user base outpacing its database performance. This resulted in slowed search and reporting times that detracted from the customer experience and led to time-intensive resolution processes. To address these issues, Pi Pharma Intelligence partnered with AWS Partner cirrusgo to redesign its data infrastructure using AWS services. cirrusgo helped Pi Pharma Intelligence build a new, decoupled data pipeline and an in-house content management system (CMS) that integrated real-time monitoring tools. The new solution lowered search speed from minutes to milliseconds, gained the ability to accommodate data that is 179 times larger in size, and reduced issue resolution time by 98 percent.

Cowboy Migrates to AWS and Gains Scalability with Ease Using CloudNation

Cowboy, an ebike manufacturer headquartered in Brussels, Belgium, was outgrowing its infrastructure, which could have affected the rider experience if left unresolved. It had already reached the largest option its cloud provider offered but was starting to encounter latency issues related to data retrieval. Although the company was not yet experiencing downtime or affecting availability to customers, it was clear that its systems would eventually be overwhelmed if it didn’t make a change. Working with AWS Partner CloudNation, it migrated to Amazon Web Services (AWS) to remove performance bottlenecks and optimize its use of resources and its costs.
