BMO and FICO Transform Financial Services with AWS

Likezero is a UK-based agreement intelligence software company, spun out of professional services company PwC. Its legal agreement application previously ran on PwC’s private network, and is also hosted by two major partners—the London Stock Exchange and S&P Global. Likezero needed a new cloud-based solution after the company became independent from PwC, so it turned to AWS Partner Eviden to help it run its service for customers on Amazon Web Services (AWS). Eviden developed a highly scalable system for Likezero on AWS in 2 months.

Base39, a financial technology provider, has revolutionized its operations by adopting a serverless architecture on Amazon Web Services (AWS). Initially struggling with costly and complex manual searches, Base39 collaborated with AWS Partner MongoDB and AWS Partner Anthropic to leverage their respective solutions—Atlas Vector Search and Claude respectively. This transition cut loan analysis costs by 96% and decision time from three days to under an hour. The serverless model also reduced infrastructure costs by 84%, development costs by 75%, and maintenance by up to 100%. Supported by AWS and the MongoDB for Startups program, Base39 has significantly improved efficiency, customer satisfaction, and innovation, releasing new models weekly and enhancing financial solutions in Latin America.

AXA Konzern AG (AXA Germany) is a large primary insurance provider in Germany, and part of the AXA Group. It has over 8,000 employees, 7.4 million customers, and generates annual revenues of around €12 billion. AXA Germany had been running its life insurance platform and back-office systems from an on-premises data center and, since 2015, was using msg.Life Factory, an industry-recognized policy administration system for life insurance. The solution was provided by msg insur:it, a subsidiary of AWS Partner msg, a Germany-based organization that specializes in developing IT solutions for different industries.
