Citizens Advice Scales its Contact Center with Amazon Connect and Accenture

Citizens Advice offers free, impartial advice to anyone in the UK needing help with housing, debt, benefits, and legal services. A UK charity since 1939, its head office contact center platform is used by a federated network of almost 250 member charities and over 8,000 advisers who provide free remote advice to millions of people every year through its national phone service. In recent years the number of people calling the contact center has soared and its system, which was approaching end of life, struggled to meet the demand. After selecting AWS Partner Accenture to help it with the migration process, the charity has improved its client calling experience, reduced IT support costs, and gained valuable performance metrics. The charity now has a reliable platform that allows it to drive innovation to support its business goals.

Metrodata Helps PT Penjaminan Infrastruktur Indonesia Cut Costs, Improve Security Using AWS

Penjaminan Infrastruktur Indonesia (PII) is a state-owned enterprise that supports the development of domestic infrastructure under the Indonesian Ministry of Finance. Fulfilling infrastructure needs is an important step in maintaining economic growth and the Government of Indonesia encourages the participation of business entities in the development of national infrastructure through support for policies, instruments, and fiscal frameworks. It also has a role as a guarantor for infrastructure projects that are built by the Indonesian government.

PII was running its business applications and databases from an aging on-premises data center. However, the infrastructure was unreliable, difficult to scale, and expensive to maintain, while its complexity was raising security concerns.

PII migrated its applications and databases to Amazon Web Services (AWS) with the help of local AWS Partner Metrodata. The migration to AWS reduced the company’s costs by 30 percent, reduced cyber incidents by 90 percent, and improved performance by 70 percent.
