National Association of Boards of Pharmacy Migrates to AWS with IBM's Support

International health and wellbeing provider Westfield Health worked with AWS Partner Zen to migrate its insurance platform from two data centers to Amazon Web Services (AWS), with the goals of improving reliability and developer efficiency while strengthening its security and compliance.

Werfen is a worldwide leader in the areas of hemostasis, acute care, transfusion, autoimmunity, and transplant, with a focus on specialized diagnostics. It needed to transform its Italian IT infrastructure by consolidating its on-premises Oracle databases and improve its data security. Working with AWS Partner OMNYS, Werfen designed and executed a migration plan using AWS Migration Hub and AWS Database Migration Service. The migration consolidated its infrastructure on Amazon Web Services (AWS) and reported a 25 percent performance boost.

Theragen Bio worked with lllumina, an AWS Partner, to increase the efficiency of its genomic sequencing and analysis operations. It implemented Illumina Connected Analytics, hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS), to reduce analysis time from 40 to 4 hours per researcher and to scale laboratory operations with DRAGEN pipelines. Theragen Bio uses Connected Analytics, which runs on Amazon S3, Amazon EC2, and AWS Batch, to streamline analysis of multiomic samples and scale its sequencing to a petabyte of data.

Hera Residenzen Pflege GmbH, a rapidly growing company providing outpatient and home care, digitized most of its nursing staff's administrative work and improved process efficiency by consolidating its multi-location IT infrastructure onto Amazon Web Services (AWS). Assisted by AWS Partner Gesundheitsforen Leipzig GmbH, Hera Residenzen now runs a significant part of its administrative processes on a highly scalable central cloud infrastructure on AWS, allowing its care staff to concentrate on nursing and spend minimal time on administration.
