National Association of Boards of Pharmacy Migrates to AWS with IBM's Support

The East of England Stroke Telemedicine Partnership, part of the UK National Health Service England (NHSE), built an application to deliver remote, expert stroke care. It was struggling to meet national target times for delivering stroke care, which is time-critical and vital to saving lives, and preventing disabilities caused by strokes. Working with AWS Partner Visionable, it built a secure, video-conferencing application to assess, treat, and support patients remotely. Visionable’s solution was migrated to Amazon Web Services (AWS). Built on Amazon EC2 and Amazon S3, the service has helped the Stroke Telemedicine Partnership reduce door-to-needle time, the time between hospital arrival and treatment.

RudderStack’s warehouse-native CDP built on Amazon Redshift provides flexible data pipelines to collect, unify, and activate customer data. To match patients faster, HealthMatch implemented RudderStack and the Customer.io engagement tool. Event data from RudderStack’s event stream pipeline now triggers match notification messages in Customer.io to go out at the optimal times based on time zone.

Avahi Technologies and AWS teamed with biotech startup WittGen to develop a scalable cloud-based AI platform that profiles cancer tumors. This helps researchers analyze heterogeneity to improve treatment outcomes. The solution enhances performance and compliance for the platform that parses patient genomic data to empower clinicians fighting cancer.

SpinCare, a startup that provides management software for home healthcare providers and caregivers across Brazil, turned to AWS Partner Dati to update its application running on Amazon Web Services (AWS), resulting in a 40 percent improvement in performance. Working with Dati, it migrated from its existing cloud platform to AWS in just 2 months, and implemented services that include AWS Elastic Beanstalk, Elastic Load Balancing, and Amazon EC2 Instances. With its new infrastructure, SpinCare has reduced costs, grown from 30 customers to 150 with a total of 20,000 patients, and plans to expand globally.
