In the medical adjudication field, everything is manual. This caused a huge backlog for Paynela.
Manually driven procedures also affect patients because they are delayed getting their payments in a timely manner.
Paynela needed to find a way to automate these payment adjudications.

Solution

Mission delivered their expertise on Paynela's challeneges and were able to help direct them in the right direction. Mission and AWS have a long history of working together.
Together, Mission and Paynela decided on combining OCR with Amazon Textract and an LLM. Amazon Bedrock was chosen to offer high-performing foundation models.
All the AWS pieces help make for an efificenct pipeline.

truID worked with AWS Partner Levi9 to modernize its cloud-based app. Using Amazon Web Services (AWS) it estimates it has cut cloud costs by 60 percent and reduced the development time for new features by 50 percent. The company, which provides financial services companies with authenticated consumer banking data to grant loans, can now provide customers with the exact set of financial data they require without having to manually reconfigure its application. Using AWS Lambda and Amazon EventBridge it can also scale easily when loan applications peak at the end of each month.

Bahrain Kuwait Insurance Company & Zero&One

Bahrain Kuwait Insurance Company (BKIC) diversified its sales channels to offer embedded insurance to its partners using Amazon Web Services (AWS). Its existing API product was inefficient and slow, so BKIC worked with AWS Partner Zero&One to build a middleware layer to manage its APIs, resulting in a 66 percent increase in speed and 98 percent reduction in API size. Using API Gateway, AWS Lambda, and AWS Control Tower, BKIC cut costs and improved the performance and efficiency of its embedded insurance platform.

AWS Partner Accenture helped Swiss-based Helvetia Insurance develop a cloud migration strategy for part of its applications’ landscape to Amazon Web Services (AWS). Helvetia provides all forms of insurance in Europe, and specialized insurance and reinsurance services worldwide. With 72 percent of its applications now migrated to the cloud, it is on target to close its data centers by the end of 2023. Using AWS services including Amazon EC2 and Amazon RDS, the company has cut its carbon emissions by 70 percent and is able to instantly spin up new testing environments, allowing it to focus on innovation.
