My AWS Educate application was rejected. How do I correct my application?

When AWS Educate rejects an application, they send notification email to the email address associated with the application with the reasons it was rejected, as well as instructions on how to correct errors in your application.

Here are some of the most common reasons the AWS Educate team rejects an application:

  • You provided an email address that isn't associated with an educational institution (that is, the email address does not end with ".edu"). If your educational institution doesn't provide email addresses ending in ".edu", contact the AWS Educate team and attach a picture of your student ID.
  • The graduation date you provided for your current program is in the past. This is often because you entered the graduation date from a previous program (for example, a high school graduation date) instead of the graduation from your current program. If so, contact the AWS Educate team and provide a corrected graduation date.
  • Your application states you are under 18. AWS Educate cannot accept applicants under 18 years of age.
