My AWS Educate application was rejected. How do I correct my application?

Check the email that you received from the AWS Educate team. The email has instructions on how to correct errors in your application.

Here are some of the more common reasons the AWS Educate team rejects an application:

  • You provided an email address that doesn't end in ".edu". If your educational institution doesn't provide email addresses ending in ".edu", contact the AWS Educate team, and attach a picture of your student ID.
  • The graduation date you provided for your current program is in the past. This is often because you entered the graduation date from a previous program (for example, a high school graduation date), instead of the graduation from your current program. If so, contact the AWS Educate team, and provide a corrected graduation date.
