Qaisar shows you how to create
an EBS volume from a snapshot

I have an Amazon EBS snapshot, and I’d like to restore it into a full Amazon EBS volume that I can attach to an instance. How do I do that?

You can restore an EBS snapshot into a volume by following the instructions at Restoring an Amazon EBS Volume from a Snapshot.

Note: Snapshots can only be restored in the region they were originally taken. If you need the EBS volume to be in another region, copy the snapshot to that region first, and then restore the snapshot.

create, copy, snapshot, drive
