Georgia Pacific Improved Resiliency with AWS Enterprise Support
Carlos Wiley, enterprise architect at Georgia Pacific (A Koch Company), discusses the importance of preventing application downtime for the organization and the end customer. Georgia Pacific builds on Amazon Web Services (AWS) and uses AWS Enterprise Support capabilities and tools to increase speed, optimize costs, and improve resiliency. The AWS Enterprise Support team assisted Georgia Pacific in reducing the time spent on manual application assessments from an average of 1–2 hours per application to just 5 minutes each. These time savings have helped Georgia Pacific’s developers to spend more time on differentiating tasks that drive business outcomes.
