New Features

Change Description

Cross-account API access with AWS STS AssumeRole

With this release of AWS Identity and Access Management, you can create an IAM role to define the AWS account under which IAM users will be able to access your account, and you can set the permissions that those IAM users will have. After IAM users assume the role, they will be able to access the services and resources under your AWS account that are defined by the role's permissions. For more information, see Delegating API Access by Using Roles in AWS Identity and Access Management Using IAM and Creating Temporary Security Credentials for Delegating API Access in Using Temporary Security Credentials AWS STS.
