Today, AWS announces the preview release of AWS Clean Rooms, a new analytics service that helps customers collaborate with their partners to more easily and securely analyze their collective datasets—without sharing or revealing underlying raw data. Instead of spending weeks or months developing clean room solutions, customers can use AWS Clean Rooms to create their own clean rooms in minutes and collaborate with any other company on the AWS Cloud to generate unique insights about advertising campaigns, investment decisions, and research and development.
Customers can use a broad set of built-in, privacy-enhancing controls for clean rooms—including query controls, query output restrictions, and query logging—that allow companies to customize restrictions on the queries run by each clean room participant. AWS Clean Rooms also includes advanced cryptographic computing tools that keep data encrypted—even as queries are processed—to help comply with stringent data handling policies. AWS Clean Rooms (Preview) is available in the following AWS Regions: US East (Ohio), US East (N. Virginia), US West (Oregon), Asia Pacific (Seoul), Asia Pacific (Singapore), Asia Pacific (Sydney), Asia Pacific (Tokyo), Europe (Frankfurt), Europe (Ireland), Europe (London), and Europe (Stockholm).
AWS Clean Rooms is part of AWS for Advertising and Marketing, an industry initiative offering a comprehensive set of purpose-built services, solutions, and partner offerings for advertising intelligence and measurement, advertising platforms, audience and customer data management, privacy-enhanced data collaboration, and customer experience.
