I want to use the AWS Cost and Usage report to help me understand my billing. How do I migrate from a detailed billing report to the AWS Cost and Usage report?
The AWS Cost and Usage Report contains much of the same data that detailed billing reports do. And the AWS Cost and Usage Report includes additional data about Reserved Instances on your account.
Note: If you haven't used billing reports before, activate them on your account.
You might need to update your accounting or management software to account for changes in naming conventions between the two reports:
