Belcorp Accelerates Time to Market and Growth Using AWS Cloud Services
Belcorp, a multinational beauty company operating in 13 markets, was challenged to re-engineer its technology infrastructure to meet the demands of business growth and agility. The company expenses with infrastructure were very high and the time it would take to create a local infrastructure was too long.
In 2012, Belcorp started its journey using the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Cloud with the support of AWS Partner Lumen. Currently, it uses 90 percent of AWS services. Venkat Gopalan, Belcorp's chief digital, data and technology officer, explains how critical services like data lakes and Amazon EMR helped the company to roll out features to customers and consultants in record time.
