AWS re:Invent 2023

Deloitte + Marriott + Palo Alto Networks at AWS re:Invent 2023

In this AWS re:Invent 2023 video, Emily Mossburg, global cyber leader at Deloitte; Ankur Shah, senior vice president and general manager of Prisma Cloud at Palo Alto Networks; and Arno Van der Walt, senior vice president and chief information security officer at Marriott International, discuss how companies can protect their cybersecurity workloads on Amazon Web Services (AWS).

Marriott, the world’s largest hospitality company, is embedding cybersecurity powered by AWS into guest interactions through their digital applications that enable convenience. They built their reputation by putting people first and providing exceptional customer service.

They are now using data in large language models and AI to bring even more efficiency and innovation that will benefit their associates, guests, and hotels. They are exploring AI-based solutions to raise the bar for travel and enhance the customer experience by piloting new ways to help guests plan their visit to a destination, providing highly relevant, local recommendations and personalized itineraries.

Deloitte, as a cybersecurity authority, envisions a world where cyberattacks are no longer a threat with intelligence powered by generative AI. On AWS, the consulting firm has developed ConvergeSECURITY, a platform offering integrated, cloud-managed security services that enhance timely threat detection and foster rapid incident recovery.

Palo Alto Networks, an innovator in proactive cybersecurity, harnesses the breadth of AWS services like Amazon Security Lake to provide comprehensive visibility and preempt advanced threats. On AWS, the company has developed a security framework that extends across multicloud and hybrid environments, helping its clients reduce risk.
