By adopting Amazon Aurora, a MySQL-compatible database service, Supercell has significantly reduced downtime, ensuring an uninterrupted gaming experience for players.

Supercell, a leading mobile game company based in Helsinki, Finland, shares its experience of leveraging  Amazon Web Services (AWS) to provide a seamless and scalable gaming experience for its 200 million monthly active users across six* globally launched games. By adopting Amazon Aurora, a MySQL-compatible database service, Supercell has significantly reduced downtime, ensuring an uninterrupted gaming experience for players. The ability to handle large-scale operations and testing environments with AWS has allowed Supercell to focus on developing features that delight their players of games like Clash of Clans, rather than troubleshooting hardware problems.

*Since filming this video, Supercell launched Squad Busters, its sixth globally launched game.
