Vedantu Leveraged AWS Enterprise Support to Ensure Continuous Uptime and an Uninterrupted Learning Experience for Students

Ajith Reddy, head of engineering at Vedantu, shares how Vedantu, a pioneer of live online learning in India has redefined online learning since its launch. Vedantu’s mission is to make learning engaging and accessible with predictable learning outcomes in every part of India. Currently, Vedantu has 50 million monthly visitors on app and web, 65 million monthly views on YouTube Channel and 26 million hours of live learning. Students from more than 500 cities and 40 countries studies on Vedantu.

Vedantu started its Amazon Web Services (AWS) journey in 2014 and leveraged AWS services for different use cases: Amazon CloudFront to stream on-demand videos with low latency for millions of users across India; Amazon Redshift for crunching petabytes of data creating personalized learning experiences for every student; AWS WAF and AWS Shield security services to prevent BOT attacks; and Apache Kafka to review millions of chat messages in near real time to prevent spamming, profanity, and ensure child safety.
