A: The Federated Kubernetes Clusters Using Amazon EKS and KubeFed solution automates the deployment and federation of two Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (Amazon EKS) clusters in different AWS Regions. This solution is designed to be compliant with security best practice recommendations. It includes a bastion host as a single secured point of management, secure VPC peering connections, permission-controlled security groups, and private routing.

Q: Can I deploy Federated Kubernetes Clusters Using Amazon EKS and KubeFed in any AWS Region?

A: Customers must deploy the solution in AWS Regions where Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Servive (Amazon EKS) is available. For more information, refer to the AWS Regional Services List.
