A: Yes, this solutions works with any Amazon S3 storage class including Amazon S3 Standard, S3 Standard–IA, S3 One Zone-IA, S3 Intelligent-Tiering, S3 Glacier, and S3 Glacier Deep Archive. For more information, refer to the implementation guide.

Q: What algorithms does this solution use to check the integrity of objects?

A: You can check the integrity of objects stored in any Amazon S3 storage class using either MD5 or SHA1 checksum values. For more information, refer to the implementation guide.

Q: Can I customize the solution for my specific use case?

A: Serverless Fixity for Digital Preservation Compliance is designed to help you easily perform fixity checking on objects stored in any Amazon Simple Storage Service (Amazon S3) storage class using native AWS services without having to incur the cost and complexity of third-party software. We recommend that you use this solution as a baseline and customize it to meet your specific needs.
