AWS Summit is jam packed with activities you can participate in outside of the breakout sessions. We encourage you to partake in the activities as an opportunity to network with peers and AWS team members. After a hard day of learning, be sure to join the networking drinks being held in the Partner and Solutions Expo, which follows the last sessions of the day.

Whether you are a new startup looking to launch or an existing startup looking for ways to grow your business, you will learn something new at the AWS Startup Day.

Designed for startup founders and technical staff, this free full-day event will deliver education and networking opportunities to enable and accelerate startup innovation and growth, provide education on emerging trends and inspire action through the personal experiences of startup founders.

AWS Builders' Day is a free, full-day technical event where new developers will learn about some of the hottest topics in cloud computing, and experienced developers can dive deep on newer AWS services. Join us for highly technical sessions, live demos, and networking with AWS experts and your peers.

The cloud is driving innovation at record speed. Seize every opportunity to learn, grow, and build. Whether you are new to the cloud or an experienced AWS customer, this Summit will offer something new. The event will be packed with technical insights, inspiring customer stories, and engaging breakout sessions. There will also be plenty of great networking opportunities with AWS as well as our sponsors.

This workshop will feature a beginner and an advanced session. The beginner session features an intro to Alexa and an in-depth training course on building skills with the Alexa Skills Kit (ASK), a collection of self-service APIs, tools, documentation and code samples that make it fast and easy for you to add skills to Alexa. Furthermore, we will guide you through the process of publishing your skill to the UK Amazon Skill store. This session is aimed at those who haven't built an Alexa skill before.

The advanced session is aimed at those who have either attended the morning beginner session or built skills for Alexa before. We will be covering more complex topics to help you create truly compelling voice experiences with Alexa.
