Q: Who should attend AWS Summits?
Whether you are new to the cloud or an experienced user, you will learn something new at an AWS Summit. These events, held around the world, are designed to educate new customers about the AWS platform and offer existing customers deep technical content to be more successful with AWS.

All AWS Summits feature a keynote address highlighting the latest announcements and customer testimonials, technical sessions led by AWS engineers, and hands-on technical training. You will learn best practices for deploying applications on AWS, optimizing performance, monitoring cloud resources, managing security, cutting costs, and more. You will also have opportunities to meet AWS staff and partners to get your technical questions answered.

Q: Is there an age requirement to attend?
Yes. You must be 18 years of age or older to attend.

Q: What language will the Summit be presented in?

The AWS - Summit Toronto will be presented in English only.

Q: How do I register?
To register for the AWS Summit – Toronto, click "Register For Free" on the home page to begin the registration process. Space is limited so reserve your free seat today.

Q: What is included in Summit registration?
Summit registration gives you access to the keynote, over 20 breakout sessions, demos, The Expo, and Networking Reception. Meals offered include continental breakfast and boxed lunch.

Q: What is the price of registration?
AWS Summit registration is free.

Q: How do I update my registration information?
To view or make changes to your registration details, return to your Summit account and enter your account information created during registration. On the following page select “Modify.”

Q: What is your cancellation policy?
You may cancel your Summit or Bootcamp registration at any time by logging into your Summit account.

Q: Do I have to register for each breakout session?
There is no pre-registration for sessions and demos. These will be filled on a first-come first-seated basis.

Q: What accessibility accommodations are available?
The AWS Summit – Toronto’s venue, Toronto Congress Centre is easily accessible for all attendees. All facilities are on the ground level and there are accessible washrooms and parking available. We have also made the following arrangements:

Most of the AWS sessions in the afternoon are offered through a headset where you are able to control the volume. All sessions in Hall J will be offered via headsets.

We will have reserved accessible sets at the front of every session and keynote if you need to sit close to the stage for sight or hearing reasons.

If you need additional assistance or have accommodation requests, please email at least one week prior to the event. Every effort will be made to provide reasonable accommodations.

Q: What special dietary requirements are accommodated?
Our boxed lunches provide options for vegan, gluten free, and dairy free individuals. All food provided will be labeled appropriately.

Q: Where do I park?
There is plenty of complimentary parking at the Toronto Congress Centre. Parking staff will direct you upon arrival on where to go.

Can I take Public Transportation?
Yes! The AWS Summit is accessible via public transit:

From the Lawrence West Subway Station – Transfer onto the #52A or #52B bus heading west and take to City View Drive stop.
From the Kipling Subway Station – Transfer onto the Martin Grove #46 bus heading north and take to Dixon Road stop, then walk a few minutes west along Dixon Road to City View Drive.
GO Transit: GO provides bus service to The Toronto Congress Centre via the Brampton bus service. Please call 1 888 GET ON GO for information or visit for schedules.

Q: Will there be luggage storage or a coat check?
Yes, there will be coat check and luggage storage at the AWS Summit. The cost is 3.50 CAD per item.

Q: Will there be a private Mother’s Room for nursing mothers?
Yes, there will be a private and secure mother’s room.

Q: Will there be a meditation or Prayer Room?
Yes, there is a meditation or prayer room at the AWS Summit.

Q: What information will be shared with sponsors?
If you agreed (for example, when you registered for the event) that we could share your contact information with our sponsors, then we may share it with our sponsors. If you agreed that we could share your contact information with our sponsors and you scan your badge at an exhibitor booth or a sponsored breakout session, then we will share your contact information with that sponsor. If we share your contact information with a sponsor, the sponsor may send you marketing materials. We will handle your information in accordance with the AWS Privacy Policy, and information provided to a sponsor is subject to the sponsor’s privacy policy.

Q: Where Should I Stay?
We have a room block available at the Delta Hotels Toronto Airport & Conference Centre with a nightly room rate plus tax of $217.41 CAD . These rooms are on first come basis. If you would like to book a room, please go here.

Q: Do you accept submissions for speakers/session ideas?
At this time, we do not accept submissions for Summit speakers or session content although we always appreciate customer feedback.

Q: What safety and security measures are in place at AWS Summits?
Your safety and security is important to us. You and your property may be subject to a reasonable search before you enter an AWS Summit. We may ask you to leave an AWS Summit if your behavior causes us concern for the safety and security of other attendees.
