Introducing the Amazon Corretto Crypto Provider (ACCP) for Improved Cryptography Performance

The Amazon Corretto Crypto Provider (ACCP), a cryptography performance improvement for Amazon Corretto, is now available. Historically, Java cryptography has been CPU-intensive resulting in slow performance and elevated operational costs. ACCP updates dozens of cryptographic algorithms, accelerating cryptographic workloads.

You can now optimize your own environments with ACCP. The ACCP is open source and available on Maven and GitHub, so that non-Corretto Java 8 and Java 11 users can improve their cryptographic performance. To learn more about ACCP and observed benchmarking improvements, please read the blog post.
