Is the text message that I received from AWS?

AWS contacts you through SMS if you request SMS verification when creating a new AWS account.

If you receive an SMS message that you didn't request from a sender that claims to be from AWS:

• Don't respond to the message.
• Don't open any links in the message.
• Report the sender to Amazon by following the instructions at Report suspicious emails, phone calls, text messages or webpages.
