Spitfire is fairly easy to learn and powerful for organizing data viz.
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of importing data and immediately having figures to display and modify
What do you dislike about the product?
Lack of resources to learn the coding language or video tutorials to learn certain paradigms
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Facile data visualization using geocoding, no other tool was as quick and simple

Tibo is amazing
What do you like best about the product?
I like the ease of use combined with powerful analytics and beautiful visuals. So intuitive. My analytics graduate students learn it so fast and are experts in building graphs in one session!
What do you dislike about the product?
Most of the students have Macs - so the fact that we can't use a desktop version is always a disappointment to me and my students.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am using it in a data visualization and visual analysis graduate course. Have used it for many years. Just using the cloud version as most of the students have Macs.

Highly recommend trying it - it is truly amazing.

What do you like best about the product?
I’ve used Spotfire before, and it was excellent. The options of data display seem limited only by one’s creativity.
What do you dislike about the product?
I’ve gone to grad school, and I attempted to get an academic license. I received an email saying it was accepted, but when I tried to obtain a license to download, I kept getting an ATMOSPHERE error of some kind, and couldn’t log into the site. When I tried to contact help, I have to log into the site to receive the help, which I cannot do. I think the program is great, but TIBCO’s customer service has serious flaws. If I can’t get the service, then I’m not going to recommend its use.

The benefit of Spotfire
What do you like best about the product?
One thing I like best about spotfire is its ability to handle large dataset without slowing down. You can visualize your data easily with various types of chart available. You also have the option to do other analytics in the software, enabling you create your own variable.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far, I do not recall any concern that will make me dislike the program. If something comes up in the future I will be happy to let technical support know about it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm currently using the program to analyze completions data and perform other analytics for my research.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's a great program for data analytics. It gives you flexibility in visualization of results of analysis and easily exportable for presentation.

Extremely comprehensive software with a steep learning curve but very powerful. Integrates with R and python

What do you like best about the product?
Allows me to quickly and easily make something useful out of data which I can present to clients or the business and make a lasting impact.

Software can be tricky to use at time. Help is not the best and there are so many options in the software it can be a real pain to get it to do what you want the first time around.

I have shown that potential areas and markets that are not yet realized using data which I've visualized in spotfire.

Take the time to play around in the software as much as you can to learn the capabilities and what it can do.

TIBCO Spotfire does a great job at providing default visualizations that are easy to follow. The software also integrates nicely with other tools, such as R.
What do you dislike about the product?
The default font size is not likeable and it doesn't seem to play well with new computers with ultra-high definition.

TIBCO Spotfire is used for advanced analytics and real-time data visualization.

Be able to implement R codes into Spotfire

I am new on where to look for help. The community is OK, but when trying to install libraries or have to debug my R code I do not where to kook for help or examples. I need to do a Google/StackOverflow search to be able to adapt my problem to what's been published.

Decline Curve Analysis and generating user friendly dashboards.
