Powerful data tool to analyze data and information accurately
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to build complex data reports beyond what I believed was even possible
What do you dislike about the product?
It is a little old fashioned and the layout/UI needs updating for more user friendliness
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is helping us analyze the data in our industry and make better decisions about the products we sell, the locations we service (and want to service), and understand our competition better and how they're performing.

What do you like best about the product?
TIBCO allowed our small company to utilize real-time data that allowed us to make better financial decisions that ultimately led to a more successful result.
What do you dislike about the product?
The Cloud Nimbus program was glitchy when we used it and had some bugs that needed to be worked out.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Real-time communication with the financial markets without risk of human error.
Powerful BI Platform, but Requires IT Support
What do you like best about the product?
Spotfire is a powerful BI Platform. Spotfire can easily perform data operations (ETL) within the platform and leverage existing code from R and Python, and the suite of visualization options is extensive.
What do you dislike about the product?
Spotfire requires IT support for implementation and ongoing maintenance. In the year 2023, the amount of support required makes Spotfire feel like an outdated product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Spotfire is used to conduct exploratory data analysis and advanced analytics. It allows us to visualize large sets of data easily with a significant speed advantage over some of its competitors (e.g. PBI & Tableau)

What do you like best about the product?
It's very flexible for implementing dashboard elements for unique use cases. The Canvas for visual data transformations/data prep is hight useful to casual users.
What do you dislike about the product?
Policy to not allow accounts to reduce annual spend. This is ridiculous during challenging business conditions for your customers. Also, need to integrate Statistica Advanced analytic in a way that allows use in workflows (currently data relationship menu cannot be used this way).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Supporting Root Cause Analysis of Mfg issues using data mining. We are saving time for engineers.
Powerful Analytics Tool
What do you like best about the product?
I find it very powerful to use,.There are very few limitations to what the software allows you to do. Our company uses it on a daily basis to present meaningful insights to our clients
What do you dislike about the product?
We find that caching reports (so they are available in real time) can sometimes cause issues, especially for larger reports. That is purely a data volume issue and not necessarily a limitation of the software
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use the software daily to present insights to our end customers. The web player is embedded in our platform with logins that allow customers seamless integration between Spotfire and the rest of of our services
Have been working on Spotfire since 7.11 having expertise in Tableau. It is good.
What do you like best about the product?
1. Support and integration of R is great
2. Big Data Analytics support is very good large amount of data can be fetched so easily.
3. Flexibility of creating dashboards and packing it as a complete product and can be exported like a feature!!

What do you dislike about the product?
1. Dropdowns cannot support more than 1000 values. Yes we can use listbox but it doesn't look good if only one selection is allowed.
2. There can a maximum of 100 tiles in a page. It would be great if it can be increased more.
3. Support for Jquery, Jquery UI... which was rolled back from 12.0!! Advanced UI implementations are not possible using HTML only.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
1. Cheaper than Tableau.
2. Flexibility in creating multiple dashboards and exporting them as a single feature.
3. Joining multiple tables using Information Links, which helps in a much finer ETL process.
4. Easy to track and get hold of data fetched from multiple data sources by applying more finer filters as per requirement.

Drill down capabilities are great. Big data connectors are very usefull.

Price is a little bit high (we are using it as SaaS within AWS).

It solves our need of big data BI tool to railway predictive maintenance in more than 50 projects and 8000 cars dealing with Terabites of data monthly.

Easy data set up and user friendly. Navigation wise is easy as well.
Very nice graphival representation and easy to report. Enjoy as well the visual effects on it.

Downside is quite minimal but maybe more on data storage it requires a high storage capacity. Maybe few modification but very minimal, kost likely on data set up.

it solves our daily monitoring trend from manual set up to automatic set up.
Data downloading gives easier access from raw dat to automacally transferred to a tabular details.

Easy to Use and Efficient
What do you like best about the product?
They way you can program your charts and graphs by adding drop downs and applying condition is just one of the best thing.
What do you dislike about the product?
When I used it there was not much help available at that time and the documentation was a little bit less helpful too.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The TIBCO spotfire is solving the problem of not having the interactive charts and graph. But with the help of spotfire you can easily get your data and visualise it.
