Worth the Money: monday.com Streamlines Work Management and Reporting

What do you like best about the product?
Monday AI Work Platform helps us organize our collateral in documents, assign projects on boards, and maintain our own “main boards” that cover our daily, weekly, and monthly work. We also use the Monday Work Platform to provide our company with a monthly report on our business operations. The chat support and AI chatbot can quickly identify our issues, and we’re connected to an agent whenever we run into automation problems. We also integrate monday with Relay.app, and it runs smoothly. Since monday includes both Work Management and CRM, it feels like we’re getting two solutions in one subscription, and it’s been worth the money for us.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the buttons in Monday feel overwhelming which makes the interface feel cluttered because of the buttons our business doesn't necessarily use. Also, since we handle 1000 events, the app can be slow when we try to run through all of the "cards" we have per event in the dashboard.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Monday has helped us tremendously by streamlining project delegation. The automation feature lets us set reminders for upcoming due dates and flag when we need to address pain points within a specific project. It has also made it easier to organize our collaterals in an intuitive, visually driven way.

Empowers Teams, But Needs Better Board Connectivity
Reviewed on Aug 14, 2026
Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate monday Work Management for its AI capabilities, which I find beneficial. I also like the monday sidekick feature because it provides me with easy access to information that I would typically need to search for.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the connection between boards can be problematic, with information overload and issues with connecting from one board to another. It would be better if it was easier to connect different boards or to have one board where you could access all information. Also, it took a little bit of time to set up initially. Right now, it's only individual teams using it, and it feels slightly siloed since it's not shared across teams.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use monday Work Management to track creative workload capacity, provide clear ownership, and meet key deadlines. It serves as a centralized source of truth for my team and helps understand global marketing requests.

Effortless Project Management&Site management with Live Updates

What do you like best about the product?
Having worked extensively with monday Work Management, I have found it to be a highly effective platform for managing projects, coordinating teams, and maintaining real-time visibility across ongoing operations. One of the aspects I value most is the level of control and transparency it provides to company management. Project leaders can monitor progress, follow updates as they happen, and maintain a clear overview of what is taking place on site without having to rely entirely on separate reports or constant communication.
From a site management perspective, the ability to upload photographs and videos directly to updates is particularly useful. I have used this functionality to document site progress, completed work, issues, materials, and other important developments as they occur. Because these updates are immediately visible to the relevant team members, information can be communicated much faster and with considerably less ambiguity. In practice, this creates a live record of the project rather than relying solely on retrospective reporting.
I also appreciate the platform's interface and overall user experience. The update system feels somewhat similar to social media, which makes it intuitive even for users who may not have extensive experience with project management software. Team members can post updates, attach media, comment, and follow developments in a familiar and straightforward way. This significantly reduces the learning curve and makes communication more natural within a project environment.
Another feature I have found particularly valuable is the ability to organize and review information chronologically. Over time, the accumulation of dated updates effectively creates a structured digital history of the project. I can scroll back through previous updates, review photographs and videos, and quickly understand how a particular situation developed. In that sense, monday Work Management combines aspects of project management with the convenience of cloud-based document and media storage.
Compared with platforms such as Jira, my experience with monday Work Management has been considerably more straightforward, particularly from a non-programming and operational perspective. It does not require extensive technical knowledge to configure boards, workflows, updates, assignments, and project structures. I was able to adapt the platform to practical site-management requirements without having to depend on programming or complicated configurations.
The built-in Sidekick AI has also made the setup and ongoing management of the platform significantly more efficient. It has been useful for creating and modifying workflows, structuring information, and accelerating tasks that would otherwise require considerable manual configuration. This allowed me to spend more time focusing on the actual project and less time dealing with the mechanics of setting up the management system.
Overall, after using monday Work Management extensively in a real project and site-management environment, I consider it a very capable and practical platform. Its combination of real-time visibility, multimedia updates, chronological organization, intuitive communication, flexible workflow management, and AI-assisted configuration makes it particularly well suited to environments where information needs to move quickly between the site, project management, and company leadership. For my day-to-day work, it has proven to be not simply a task-management tool, but a centralized operational system for keeping project information visible, organized, and continuously updated.
