What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate the flexibility of monday Work Management as it allows me to create separate workspaces or boards for different projects. This feature is particularly useful for keeping track of personal tasks alongside team assignments. I value the ability to connect multiple boards into a single workspace, which enhances organization and ensures coherence within our team initiatives. The platform effectively facilitates team collaboration, being structured in a way that encourages everyone to adhere to the same organizational system. Additionally, the initial setup was very easy, and I found it to be quite intuitive, which made the transition and adoption seamless.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the existing color options to be a bit stale and repetitive, which limits my ability to organize efficiently. Additionally, the product could benefit from better integration with Microsoft Office applications. I also feel that there should be more free widgets available, which would enhance customization and functionality.

What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate how monday Work Management allows me to easily track a project's progress and see exactly where I'm at with each task. The platform's capability to replace the need for a traditional document by providing a clear overview ensures that I'm not missing any steps, contributing significantly to keeping my workflow organized. Additionally, I love the feature of being able to add due dates and date ranges, which helps me view tasks by date and stay on top of deadlines. The satisfaction of clicking 'done' once a task is completed is a delightful aspect for me. The automation features are especially valuable, as they enable me to notify co-workers efficiently, prompting their involvement when needed and moving tasks to 'done' with ease, enhancing team coordination and workflow efficiency. Furthermore, although the initial setup was a bit cumbersome due to our unfamiliarity with the platform, the monday.com team was extremely helpful. They facilitated the process by providing guidance and setting up templates, which was a tremendous help in getting us started smoothly.

There is nothing that I can think of!

I use monday Work Management to efficiently track project progress, automate notifications for staff involvement, and manage due dates, ensuring timely task completion and satisfaction in marking tasks as done.

They offer a wide range of impressive organizational tools that have really benefited my team. These tools have improved our communication and organization, making it much easier for us to complete projects efficiently.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I can think of is the formula option, at the moment, the results wont show up in an automation, which defeats the purpose for my need for them. Other than that, Monday is great!!

I really appreciate that I can instantly communicate to others by one click of a button. Little details can make or break an organization, so the ability to tell a large group of people all the info they need really maximizes my time and efficiency.

Custom Statuses and Easy Task Management Make Projects a Breeze
What do you like best about the product?
I like the ability to add different custom status for a task. It's easy to manage tasks and subtasks for a project. While the ability to attach files is nice, I often find myself linking to places like Figma or Google Drive for a task or subtask.
What do you dislike about the product?
The color selections for groups is kind of limited. I would like to have some custom control, but I understand how that can become an accessibility nightmare given there is a light mode and dark mode for the platform. Viewing archived items is a bit hidden away in the UI. Overall, the UI is a bit busy for a new user unfamiliar with Monday.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows me to create tasks and assign them to either myself or another teammate. It serves to assign responsibility and set expectations in a centralized place where my team can reference for the duration of a project.

Monday.com has been invaluable in helping me keep my projects organized and on schedule. It enables me to plan projects effectively and provides a clear view of who is involved and what steps are needed at each stage. The automations are a feature I truly appreciate, as they simplify my workflow and ensure my boards operate seamlessly. I also enjoy the versatility of Monday.com; I have set up numerous workspaces within the platform, and I find that I can adapt it to manage just about anything I need.
What do you dislike about the product?
I manage a workspace that contains over 50 boards, and whenever I need to make a change or update to our work plan, I have to update each of those boards individually. I really wish there were a feature that allowed me to apply an update across all boards within the workspace at once. I understand this might not be simple to implement, but it would be a fantastic improvement to consider.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Monday.com has truly transformed how we manage our projects by resolving many of the issues we faced before. Previously, we didn't have an effective system for tracking projects or for knowing who was responsible for each task. Our processes were unclear, which made it challenging for new team members to understand the steps involved in a project or to know what would happen next. With Monday.com, we now use templates for every project, which we can duplicate and adapt as needed. These templates clearly define each stage of a project from start to finish, and we can adjust them to fit the needs of different team members, timelines, and clients.
We also struggled with tracking client deliverables before using Monday.com. There was no reliable way to see whether a client had any deliverables left or what they had already used as part of their contract. Now, with a dedicated workspace, we can accurately track what each client has used and what remains. This has completely changed the way we work!

What do you like best about the product?
Monday is fairly intuitive, and it is easy to learn setting up new workspaces, project boards, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
Our solution is quite complex, and many of the new features being introduced do not always seem to fit our needs, at least initially. Due to this complexity, we have engaged a third party for support. Mutherboard has now become our main reference point for understanding what is possible within Monday.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Monday has truly become our organization's 'source of truth,' centralizing data that is used across every department. With this platform, we can create executive-level dashboards not only for our internal teams but also for external buyers. This capability has significantly reduced the time it takes to make decisions regarding resource allocation.

The pricing structure can be restrictive—advanced features like private boards and time tracking require higher-tier plans. There’s also a slight learning curve for setting up complex automations and reporting. While the platform is powerful, smaller teams may find these limitations challenging. My company only provides minimal access for me because of the pricing

I love how intuitive and user-friendly monday Work Management is. The fact that we could build out the program ourselves without needing to hire someone was a significant advantage, as it allowed us to tailor it to fit our needs perfectly. Before using monday Work Management, our team struggled with organization, but its visual aspect has been transformative, providing clear 'at a glance' views of our processes. This has been a very positive change for our teams, enabling us to manage data more effectively than when we were using excel spreadsheets. It makes reporting and visualization far easier, addressing our company's need for more efficient data handling. The ease of integration with tools like Outlook further adds to its functionality, streamlining our workflow significantly.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find that there are a few reporting and automation features in monday Work Management that could be improved. Specifically, I would like the ability to filter automations by country, which would greatly enhance our workflow when managing incoming leads. Additionally, it would be beneficial to change the horizontal layout or to have the option to hide cells in certain groups without affecting all groups. These limitations in customization hinder my ability to tailor the platform precisely to our needs.

What do you like best about the product?
I have been using monday Work Management for over three years primarily to track projects, tasks, and wine production information at our winery. I really appreciate how the platform provides an easy and intuitive way to organize and store our wine information clearly, allowing us to create specific boards for each wine vintage and track tank fillings effectively. The ease of setting up boards that are customized to match our needs has been particularly beneficial for inventory tracking. I love how the boards clearly display the amounts of inventory on hand and aid in predicting future stock levels. The user-friendly interface is enhanced by the color-coding feature, which helps us easily interpret inventory status with visual cues like red for out of stock, yellow for almost out, and green for good stock levels. Additionally, the customization of adding dates to columns supports accountability among the team to ensure data entered is both accurate and up-to-date, and assigning employees a responsibility for specific items simplifies task management.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the column types/names could be different per group on a board. Additionally, it would be helpful to have a 'magic' recommendation feature to suggest which board to pull up based on past historical uses.
