Positive experience with Absorb LMS and appreciation for the team

What do you like best about the product?
The Absorb LMS is easy to navigate and has a wide range of features that allows us to create meaningful course offerings and robust reporting for our partners to meet their needs and requirements.
Our CSM, Kirsten Spak, has provided friendly, timely, and high quality service to our team. As we have expanded our use of the LMS, Kirsten has helped us to identify the best and most efficient ways to approach things. Additionally, as users who are relatively new to the platform, Kirsten has provided very clear instruction on processes when we were unsure of what to do.
What do you dislike about the product?
In a very few instances we have identified functions that we would have liked to have available. Specifically, the ability to download all course certificates as a single function. However, in these instances, our CSM, Kirsten Spak, elevated the questions to colleagues and worked to identify alternative ways to complete the desired functions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are a nonprofit that collaborates with partners within the industry to provide educational courses and resources. Utilizing Absorb has served as the home for these courses and allows us to provide customization and control for our partner's unique needs.

What do you like best about the product?
Through the years, we have had a wonderful account team. They have always assisted in any way they can to make our employees' learning experience successful.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the limitations with reporting for inactive learners.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have used Absorb as our LMS for years for new hires, compliance, business skills, and soft skill training.

Overall a good experience with Absorb LMS

What do you like best about the product?
Absorb LMS has robust reporting capabilites - any data we can think to pull about our courses and users is readily available. The LMS is reliable - I rarely need to contact Customer Support and they are generally very responsive when I do submit tickets. Having a dedicated Client Success Manager is really helpful and our CSM, Olga, is very responsive and explains things clearly. The ability to integrate with our member database and use plugins such as the connection to Zoom has been very useful for our organization.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the LMS is not very intuitive to use and the online help articles are not very helpful, so I do often need to go to our CSM with questions about "how do we do this?" I am always wishing for more customization on the customer-facing side of the LMS to make things more user-friendly for our learners. Absorb has a lot of add-ons (e.g., Engage, Create) that offer great features, but everything comes at an extra cost, and it can be frustrating to see resources invested in these add-ons rather than focusing on improving the core product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Absorb allows us to offer learning both to members of our organization and to external users. Being able to manage everything (registration, ecommerce, course access, reporting) in one platform is really valuable and reduces admin work.

What do you like best about the product?
We use the Absorb LMS for our training academy. Whilst I am still new to using it and have alot to still learn, the support we are given is amazing. Anything I dont understand our Client Manager is always able to support and guide me thru things.
What I know of the system so far it has alot of features which are suitable for our organisation. I use this system daily.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside to Absorb is all the features it has - I have alot more to learn thats for sure

I dont have anything to compare this to as this is the first time I have used an LMS system before

What do you like best about the product?
Absorb LMS is a great asset to any company that cares about the continued training of their employees. It is very user friendly. I love how it has something for everyone! From the easy uploading of already done training to the creation of new training, it is very easy for anyone to learn!

The implementation process was so easy and informative. I worked with Derek, who was great. He really took the time to make sure I completely understood everything before moving on.

We also had our LMS integrated with our HR system, BambooHR, which was essential for us to not create more work for our employees.

I highly recommend Absorb LMS to any company , big or small!
What do you dislike about the product?
I can not think of any downsides to LMS as of right now!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
LMS solves several problems within our company. One big issue for us is going from a small company with 30 employees to a bigger company with 2 terminals in 2 diffrent states and over 100 employees. LMS has made it a lot easier to ensure everyone is being trained the same.

What do you like best about the product?
Absorb provides us with an overall user-friendly experience for both our learners and admins. There are many robust reporting and learner engagement components that enhance both the learning experience and administrative management, as well. Absorb has continued to demonstrate active listening as they consider the needs, desires, and developmental suggestions of their clients. All things considered, there is a lot to like about the platform itself, but what stands out most is the investment they make to ensure that clients are well supported from assessment and selection, to implementation, integrations, adoption and enhancements, and relationship building with their clients. This is what has set them apart from the competition.
What do you dislike about the product?
While there is a lot of potential for customization depending on your use case, there is still room for growth and refinement around search functionality, and continuing to streamline processes for learners.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Absorb has greatly reduced and in some cases eliminated many of the manual tasks associated with learning management administration. We have been able to save time by applying automation, successfully enable integrations, and monitor progress in a way that simplifies our actions and expedites our path to those desired outcomes.

User-Friendly LMS with Outstanding Support and Robust Features

What do you like best about the product?
We love that it's very user-friendly and easy for our staff to use. The customer support is incredibly responsive and never leaves us hanging. I appreciate that they constantly update the platform to add new features. We also find the Ideas Portal valuable as they genuinely consider user feedback. Our Customer Success Managers, Tamar and Ashley before her, have been extremely nice and supportive. Additionally, the dashboards for department heads are fantastic, allowing them to quickly see the status of course completions.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are a few differences compared to our old LMS, which required us to adjust our processes. For instance, we might need to purchase a few custom reports because the ones we need aren't available out of the box. Additionally, while Absorb claims to accept any SCORM courses, we had to reconfigure some of ours to adjust the resolution and use questions within Absorb instead of within the course. This wasn't a huge issue, but it was time-consuming due to the length of the courses. However, now that they're adjusted, they work great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are moving to a new ERP (Ceredian) and we have been told that there is an integration with Absorb. We are looking forward to that. Also, using it as a document signing tool, to have our staff sign off on policy updates, allows us to eliminate our custom built tool we made just for that.

What do you like best about the product?
The customer service from Absorb LMS is fantastic. Our CSM, Tamar Lupo, is wonderful and always makes sure to follow-up wiht answers to our questions. The entire team is very congnizant of the needs of our organization and works hard to meet all of our accessiblity standards. The system is user friendly and the teams are phenominal.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing at the moment. While we've had trouble integtrating with some external vendors, it is not Absorb's issue but rather the external vendor and Absorb's team has done a fantastic job trying to provide additoinal solutions as we've gone along.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Their team is working on accessibility and reporting which is extremely helpful for our organization.

Great LMS Platform; Even better Customer Support

What do you like best about the product?
Absorb LMS is a versatile and user-friendly platform designed for higher education and corporate training. It's compreshesive suite of features is a great value for the money. The LMS is easy to understand and use. Customer Support is top-notch; responsive and easy to get solutions. Frequent platform updates to both stability and functionality.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Absorb LMS can offer numerous benefits, but there also exists challenges. A wide array of advanced features are available requiring a steep learning curve to master. The pricing model adds these advanced features for a price, but the price may be out of the range for a smaller organization. There is a medium level of customization available with any price plan you select; any customization above this can be expensive and time-consuming to develop. Over the years, Absorb has increased the number of HCM connections, the initial setup requires a systematic approach with IT professionals. On a the rare occasion, there have been data flow issues. These were quickly remedied.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Robust and wide array of features allows us to utilize the platform to help solve managing the training of a large employee pool.

Online Instruction Led Courses allows us to train and certify team members from across the nation. Compliance training is easily managed through targeted groupings with reporting exported to PowerBI. On-going Promo trainings are tracked, assigned and reported.

We got so much more than we ever expected

What do you like best about the product?
Absorb is one of the most feature rich platforms I have ever used (and I have worked in tech for 20+ years). Every time we said "wouldn't it be good if..." there was a feature to allow us to do it. The best thing about the LMS though for us was the on-boarding experience we had with Adam. Without it, we wouldn't be even a fraction of the way towards where we are now. We on boarded to Absorb in parallel to on boarding onto a new CMR platform and the experiences were like night and day. We needed to hit the ground running with Abdorb - and that was exactly what Adam enabled us to do.
What do you dislike about the product?
If I had to make some improvements I would make the transition back and forth between Create and Absorb a little easier to navigate.
I'd implement some hover-overs on different areas of Absorb to give little remiders of what each thing does (I'm especially thinking of when you put courses live).
I'd also make the admin interface a little bit more modern and easier to navigate - possibly even integrating some of the absorb university training videos into the admin interface so you could learn as you use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed a multi-tenancy LMS to be able to bring our amazing live training courses to our customers and their organisations whilst giving them the ability to administrate and do reporting themselves. Absorb enables us to do all this and much more!
