Most Flexible data platform on the market
What do you like best about the product?
The databricks platform give you a single place to build your data processes. You can scale, adjust and write successful code from any skill level.The customer support we get is very good and helpful in our tactical implementations. Also you can intake data from any platform on the market.
What do you dislike about the product?
The most difficult this is that there isn't a out of work training location unless you stand up your own environment.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Databricks is solving scale and onboarding issues for us. The size of the data is less and less of a issue and we can focus on writing code that is obtainable to staff.

Databricks - Powerful Product for all Data and AI Needs
What do you like best about the product?
Databricks Data platform is single unified, democratized solution for all data needs, I really like the recently launched SQL warehouse serverless feature where you don't need to worry about ec2 machines provisioning as well in your cloud account. Apart from it, I really like unity catalog , sql alerts, databricks dashboards features and creating automated workflow(jobs flow) either via databricks api or integrating Databricks Airflow operator. The visibility that databricks provide via audit tables like infrastructure cost, checking user activities etc. is something that set it apart. Also Pandas Spark Api provides us feasiblity to use distributed computing in existing python pandas code without much changes.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes there are unplanned downtime for the platform which irritates us. Some documentation pages lacks examples. The AI assistant right now only able to solve/give sql responses only for simple sql asks. In cases of complex sql and sql failures, the `Diagnose error` is not relevant.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The benefit that we are getting from databricks platform is that we don't need to manage inhouse spark plus cataloging service and we as a data team can focus more on generating useful insights from raw data. Using Databricks All Purpose clusters, we are able to provide our customer (Business Analytics, Product, Backend) separate clusters to do adhoc analysis such that one system doesn't impact other one. We are able to generate quick ROI in terms of performance and less query errors while migrating from Amazon redshift to databricks

The user experience or interface of Databricks is very useful and great, they provide many automated tools and integration to use Databricks with ease.

As Data Engineer, we frequently use them in our projects and also integrate with clouds like AWS to work on certain projects with the team.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We can perform maximum tasks with Databricks without any hassle solve our data queries easily and also handle all data without any error or problem.

Consolidating many different systems into lakehouse. Unity Catalog provides a very good governance model.

I like this technology because of its great user portal that integrates with AWS and is excellent for machine learning and artificial intelligence. I like managing data and the interface is nice because it gives us a good, complete and flexible working environment.

This product still needs improvement, especially in data engineering.

The problems it solves are data warehousing, data science, management and analysis of large amounts of data. And it is enjoyable to use because it is convenient and allows you to work with large-scale data sets and collaborate in teams.

if you want to improve the control and processing of all your data through a fully centralized platform you should start using this software as soon as possible, its innovative tools and resources will allow you to achieve all your goals.

Databricks the essential platform
What do you like best about the product?
Databricks Data Intelligence Platform contains different functionalities which allows data analysis to be easily and efficiently, allows monitoring the processes and contains a tutorial that explains its basic functions which is a great help if you have no previous knowledge, thanks to this platform I have managed to create data tables and configure them in a specific way. Successfully integrates with other tools.
What do you dislike about the product?
Databricks crashes and shuts down unexpectedly, however it is something that can be fixed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Databricks is easy to use and collaborative, it is indispensable for my business use, it provides me with tools such as Apache Spark, Delta Lkae, everything I need on a single platform, being a safe place.
Powerful tool to handle big data and run reports
What do you like best about the product?
I like this tool for running reports, managing data and it offers excellent features for analysis and visualization of query results. I liked all of that.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is a bit confusing at first, especially the user panel.

In general, Databrick is used to manage different amounts of data, run queries, data science and machine learning and optimize correctly and make changes which helps us a lot to avoid delays and save time.
