How do I change the email address for my registered domain in Route 53?

I'm unable to access my previous email account. I want to update the email address for my registered domain in Amazon Route 53. How can I do this?
- Open the Route 53 console.
- In the navigation pane, choose Registered Domains.
- Select the domain name.
- Choose Edit Contacts.
- If you're changing the email address for the registrant and other contacts (admin or technical), only edit the registrant's email address at this step. If you aren't changing the registrant's email, skip to step 7.
- Choose Save.
- (Optional) Follow steps 4-6 to change the email addresses for any non-registrant contact types (admin or technical).
When the change is complete, you receive an email at the new email address to confirm the change. You don't need to authorize the change.
