Ryan shows you how to
verify an email address or
domain in Amazon SES

I want to verify an email address or domain that I'm using with Amazon Simple Email Service (Amazon SES). How can I do that?

To verify an email address, you can use either the Amazon SES console or the Amazon SES API. For instructions, see Verifying Email Addresses in Amazon SES.

To verify a domain, see Verifying Domains in Amazon SES for instructions.

Note: If you're using Amazon Route 53 as your DNS provider, Amazon SES can automatically add your domain verification TXT record to your DNS records. If you aren't using Route 53, you must work with your DNS provider to update your DNS records.
