AWS Elastic Beanstalk adds Python 2.7, Java 7 and Node.js 0.10.21 Support

We are pleased to announce that AWS Elastic Beanstalk now supports Python 2.7, Java 7 with Tomcat 7 and Node.js 0.10.21. Starting today, you can launch environments and deploy applications on Elastic Beanstalk that depend on the above mentioned language versions.

Also, the following Elastic Beanstalk platforms have been updated to the latest (2013.09) release of the Amazon Linux AMI:

  • Java 6 with Tomcat 7
  • Node.js (All versions)
  • PHP 5.4
  • Python 2.6
  • Ruby 1.8.7
  • Ruby 1.9.3
