AWS Serverless Application Repository Enables Customers to Discover, Deploy, and Publish Serverless Applications

Posted on: Nov 30, 2017

The AWS Serverless Application Repository is a collection of serverless applications published by developers, companies, and partners in the serverless community.

Now, you can easily discover and deploy everything from code samples and components for building web and mobile applications to back-end processing services and complete applications. You can find applications for common use cases such as web and mobile back-ends, data processing, stream processing, chatbots, IoT, Alexa Skills, and more. You can also publish applications to the Serverless Application Repository to share within your team, across your organization, or with the serverless community at large.

Each application is packaged with an AWS Serverless Application Model (AWS SAM) template that defines the AWS resources used. Publicly shared applications also include a link to the application’s source code. There is no additional charge to use the Serverless Application Repository - you only pay for the AWS resources used in the applications you deploy.
