AWS Elemental MediaLive Adds Ability to Edit Inputs and Input Security Groups

Posted on: Mar 21, 2018

With AWS Elemental MediaLive, you can now make edits to inputs and input security groups used to create live channels. This means existing settings can be quickly and easily updated, enabling you to change configurations while maintaining persistent IP addressing for your ingest points. Inputs can be RTMP push or pull, RTP with forward error correction (FEC), or HLS. An input security group restricts access to an input and prevents unauthorized third parties from pushing content into a channel, and are required with RTP and RTMP push inputs.

AWS Elemental MediaLive is a broadcast-grade live video processing service. It lets you create high-quality video streams for delivery to broadcast televisions and internet-connected multiscreen devices, like connected TVs, tablets, smart phones, and set-top boxes. The service functions independently or as part of AWS Media Services, a family of services that form the foundation of cloud-based workflows and offer you the capabilities you need to create, package, and deliver video.
