AWS Key Management Service (KMS) now offers a standalone console that simplifies the process of managing encryption keys. The new console separates AWS managed keys from customer managed keys within your account and provides enhanced search and filtering capabilities to more easily find the keys you want to manage, even if you have hundreds or thousands of keys.
Managing keys in KMS previously required the Encryption Keys section of the IAM console. Now you can access the new standalone KMS console directly using the Key Management Service link that is grouped under Security, Identity & Compliance in the AWS services home page of the AWS Management Console.
You can use the new KMS console in all commercial AWS Regions that support KMS.
To learn more about the new KMS console, see the AWS Key Management Service Developer Guide.
