You can now use the AWS Well-Architected Tool to review your workloads against the latest AWS architectural best practices, and get guidance on how to improve your cloud architectures. The tool is based on the AWS Well-Architected Framework, which was developed to help you build secure, high-performing, resilient, and efficient application architectures.
Using the tool, you can review your workloads using a consistent process, understand potential risks in your workload architectures and identify next steps for improvement. Define your workload, and answer a set of questions across the five pillars of the Well Architected Framework. The AWS Well-Architected Tool will then provide a plan describing the improvements that can be applied to the workload.
There’s no charge for the AWS Well-Architected Tool; you pay only for any AWS resources that you consume. The AWS Well-Architected Tool is available in US East (N. Virginia), US East (Ohio), US West (Oregon), and Europe (Ireland). To get started, visit the AWS Management Console. To learn more, visit the Documentation and the Product page.
