AWS Marketplace makes it easier for you to discover relevant third-party software and data products

AWS Marketplace, a digital catalog with over 7,000 software listings and data products, has announced Discovery API, a new API created for select partners.  

This new feature enables sellers and data providers to curate a narrow set of third-party software and data products by integrating the AWS Marketplace catalog into their web properties. This means you will only see relevant third-party software and data when you’re on a seller or data provider’s platform. For example, in Deloitte’s ConvergeHEALTH Miner platform you will only see data products related to healthcare and life sciences, and in DLT’s Client Portal you’ll only see software DLT is authorized to resell. 

When you want to learn more about a software or data product, you can view details from the seller or data providers on the platform and get re-directed to AWS Marketplace to complete the purchase when you’re ready.

Today, Discovery API is integrated with Deloitte’s ConvergeHEALTH Miner platform and DLT’s Client Portal. Support for additional platforms and portals will follow.
