AWS Resource Groups now supports AWS CloudFormation
AWS Resource Groups now supports AWS CloudFormation, allowing customers to create resource groups and organize resources with CloudFormation stack templates. AWS Resource Groups makes it easier to manage and automate tasks on large numbers of AWS resources at one time. Customers can organize resources by applications, projects, or stages like development, staging, and production.
With CloudFormation support, customers can use Resource Groups to: provision and organize resources at the same time, organize resources by tags, and organize resources from another stack. Once a resource group is created, customers can gather insights using Amazon CloudWatch or take operational actions using AWS Systems Manager.
