Amazon SageMaker Ground Truth is a fully managed data labeling service that makes it easy to build highly accurate training datasets for machine learning. Starting today, SageMaker Ground Truth now supports common video labeling use cases with new built-in workflows.
Labeling video data can be difficult as it typically involves labeling objects across a large sequence of video frames or carefully analyzing a video clip to determine whether an event occurred. Now using SageMaker Ground Truth, you can easily perform video labeling with three built-in labeling workflows: video object detection, video object tracking, and video clip classification. You can use the video object detection workflow to identify objects of interest within a sequence of video frames, use the video object tracking workflow to track objects of interest across a sequence of video frames, and use the video clip classification workflow to classify a video file into a pre-specified category. For example, you can now use SageMaker Ground Truth to label video for tracking objects on an automotive manufacturing line or tracking body parts across an ultrasound video.
